Chapter thirty-four.

Gina and I find our seats, I had no idea this game was this big! But apparently New York City FC are in the second's highest league, and if they are winning tonight they can get a spot in the highest league, MLS, if I get it right, Gina said a lot of stuff.

"I barely didn't know that they played soccer, and they are like famous!" I laugh and see as the bleachers get filled. I am amazed by the crowd, so little I know about Niall's life.

"It is going pretty good for them, I just hope they win tonight" she smiles just as she meets Louis eyes and waves. I look at her, sharing the happiness she is feeling. This girl has become my best friend, a person I trust hundred percent, a person I can talk to about everything. Which I never had before.

I see Niall and waves at him, feeling my heart beat faster when he waves back and share this incredible smile.

They start to warmup as more people are filling the bleachers, and it is soon a full packed arena.

At four o'clock the game starts and I try my best to follow it, but soccer is not really my thing. Gina tries to explain the rules quickly but it all sounds like a mess in my head and it only makes me laugh.

"Just follow the ball!" she groans playfully.

And so I do, I follow it, it gets passed to Niall and he scores. In reflex I stand up and clamp my hands and cheer, just like everyone else does.

"Yes!!" Gina shouts and put her arm around my shoulder. "Now, you have to congratulate him on that score tonight" she winks and laughs.

After the game, NYCFC won with 4-0, Gina and I are waiting outside the arena for the boys.

"Oh, look what we have here"

We turn around and see Kyle, Gina's ex, behind us. He is walking towards us with a smile on his face.

"Is it me you are waiting for? Both of you?" he laughs with two of his friends and looks down my clothes I almost regret my outfit and make up. It is maybe too much for just a football game?

"Eh, ugh, no" Gina states simply.

"You maybe just want another round then? I mean" he clears his throat. "If my lovely teammate can't satisfy you"

She rolls her eyes. "He is pretty good with that, thank you"

They stare at each other for a while before they get interrupted by Louis who is walking up behind Kyle, having his bag over his shoulder.

"Is there a problem here?"

"Nope" Kyle says and leaves us.

Louis put his arm around Gina's shoulder and she repeatedly nods her head when he keeps asking her if she is okay.

Niall walks up to us a couple of minutes later, his hair still wet from the shower.

"We won, baby! Oh, God! I promise, we will be in MLS in no time!!" he pulls me into a hug and lifts me up and swing me around. I laugh at him and reward him by kissing his loving lips.

"Damn, you are looking so hot! I don't know if I can wait till we get home" he whispers and I blush a bit.

We walk together with Gina and Louis to the parking lot and say our goodbyes before hopping into the car. It is the best idea for Niall to drive, since I drove wrong direction three times on our way over here.

"What is it?" he lays a hand on my lap.

"Nothing, I was just thinking of Gina..."

I am. I don't know what happened but she went silence the moment Kyle showed up. I think this is the first time she met him since they broke up, and the first time she's been this silent, but I know she is over him. Maybe she just wasn't prepared to meet him?

The rest of the ride is in total silence and when we stop outside the apartment I get this lump in my throat and stomach. I feel so nervous and Niall looks over at me, showing a flawless smile.

"Are you coming?"

I nod my head and climb out of the car, Niall is waiting for me, reaching out for my hand.

"Stop being nervous, baby, it's just me" he says low and we walk inside and up the stairs. He holds my hand tightly all the time and I encourage myself that this will be the best thing in the world.

No doubt about that. I love him, he love me, and this is the only thing that is missing.

Right?
