3| Our Common Friends

After dressing up with the navy blue button-down shirt, I got out of the restroom and made my way back to my car. There's no way in hell that I'll be walking around the school with this shirt!

I just lazily lay on my bed the whole day. Missing the first day of school is not new to me. 

James scolded me for not attending my class. He keeps on preaching me that college is way different from high school. Akala ko madi-dislocate na ang mga mata ko kakairap sa kawalan habang kausap ko siya. 

The next day, sinundo ako ni James sa bahay. He said he just wanted to made sure that I am getting my ass ready. 

He's two years older than me. I'm just happy that they became my friends kahit pa hindi naman nila ako madalas nakakasama.

Nang maihatid na niya ako sa room ko ay saka lamang ako tinantanan ni James. 

'Yong mga feeling close na kaklase ko panay ang tanong kung boyfriend ko daw ba si James. Medyo sikat kasi sila dito sa University na 'to. 

I just want to say 'yes' to brag but I don't know if it's a right thing to do. Paano kasi kung mangailangan si Rath ng 'girlfriend' para magtaboy ng makulit na fling?

So I just rolled my eyes on them and plug  my earphones on my ears. I keep myself busy until the professor came.

Attending classes always bore me. 

I survived three consecutive classes and finally it's my vacant. 

I called Rath and he said that he's also in vacant. Dahil mag-ka-klase sila ni James, it means free silang tatlo.

We agreed to meet up on the cafeteria. I spotted them in the table near the counter. 

They greeted me. I am aware of the eyes assessing me. 

Huh! Mamatay kayo sa inggit. Alam ko na maganda ako. At sexy!

James said that he'll introduce me to his friend. Anak daw ng business partner ng Daddy niya. Bagong transfer din dito sa university at ka-age nila.

I raised a brow when I saw Amber Eyes approaching our table.

Baka mag-so-sorry. I swear papahiyain ko 'to!

Ang I got the biggest shock of the day when James smile widely at me and introduced us.

Tats, this is Mac. Mac, this is Tats. 

He just stare blankly at me. Ako naman, pakiramdam ko lilipad na ang kilay ko sa langit sa kakataas ko. 

How come you became friends with that brute?

Inis na tanong ko kay James. 

Gago si Gab pero hindi naman antipatiko. Itong isang 'to, siya ang pinakanakakainis sa lahat ng nakakainis!

To my dismay, umupo pa talaga siya sa harap ko

Nagtataka ka? Ikaw nga pumasa na kaibigan ni James

Malamig na sabi niya.

I narrowed my eyes on him. 

Ano'ng pinapahiwatig niya sa sinabi niya? Na mas malala ako sa kanya?

He can accept a btch like you. Stop wandering how he can be friends with me. He has a high tolerance for rotten attitudes. 

He added in the most irritating voice I've ever heard.
