Tomboys parents finished up my leg at least 3 hours ago, but forced me to stay the night. I was tucked into tomboy's old bed that smelt of her and made me think of her more

The window was open and a small breeze rolled in making the curtains sway back and fourth. The sound of crickets filled the room.

'Does she actually like me?'

I asked myself this multiple of times unable to sleep.

'I don't really think she likes me, she's never showed love or affection before, or..um at least towards me.'

I pulled the blankets up over my chest and shut my eyes and let out a sigh.

'That was said years ago... What do I need to worry about.'

I began to drift into sleep until.

'Creeeaakk'

A creaking sound came from down the hall.

'What was that?'

I rolled out of bed and managed to get up without hurting my leg.

'If that's an intruder I'm not in any condition to fight and I don't have my gun.'

I looked around the room as it was lit up with only the light of the moon. I went to the closet and looked inside revealing a softball bat. Good thing tomboy played softball.

I griped the bat in my hands ready to swing as I waddled down the hall way. I came across tomboy's brother's room and the door was opened. No one is suppose to be in there.

I walked inside and checked the room out. Nothing. I went back out into the hall way shutting the door behind me as I heard a low and quiet thud coming from downstairs. As if someone was falling.

~Agents point of view~

Mark and jack hid behind the door in tomboy's brother's room as tom walked right pasted them with a bat held in his hand. They slid out and into the hall way without making a sound and down the stairs they went.

They ran across the hard wood floor as jack slid on a carpet, falling, and making a low thudding sound.

"Jack! you dummy!"

Mark whispered angrily at him.

"I think I got a bruise on my but..."

Jack whispered rubbing his behind. They heard creaking sounds coming from the stairs.

"Come on!"

Mark whispered to jack bringing him up to his feet and they ran to a closet and went inside.

Tom was now downstairs walking around the living room as mark and jack were watching him through a small crack in the door.

"What do we do?"

Jack questioned.

"I don't know."

Mark replied looking over jacks shoulder through the crack.

Mark went to back up, but bumped into something and it fell making a rather loud sound. Toms head snapped in their direction and he began to walk his way over.

"Shit, shit, shit. Do something!"

Jack whispered while panicking looking for somewhere to hide.

"Up here!"

Mark quickly said. They managed to climb their way up the closet and wedged themselves against the ceiling. Mark was looking down at jack as jack was looking up at mark. Them both wedge against each other on the ceiling.
