~Tomboys point of view · 6AM~

I woke up to find Evan holding me tight in his warm arms. I unraveled him from around me and rolled out of bed. When I went to stand up my sides started to hurt, I look down to find two bruises on my right hip and three on my left along with one of my stitches out of place again. Maybe we were too rough last night. My curiosity got to me as I pulled the blankets down off Evan. I looked at his hips and up and it almost looked like a rainbow, he was bruised worse than me. Multicolored bruises filled his skin, I looked at his shoulders and they were bruised as well. Maybe I was too rough...

I grabbed my clothes off the floor and slipped them on and walked out into the hall. Out the window was darkness, rain still poured down followed by the wind screaming, but there wasn't much lightning or thunder.

I walked to my room and opened the door slowly so I wouldn't wake tom up. Tom was sleeping strange like he normally does, spread out all over the bed with the sheets on the floor. If he wakes up and asks me why I wasn't in bed my excuse is he wouldn't scoot over.

I snuck over to my closet and took out a pair of old jeans, a black shirt, and underwear as tom shifted in the bed. I stopped and stayed quiet.

"Hello??"

He said in a deep tired voice as he sat up with bed head and then fell back onto the bed and began to snore.

I couldn't help to laugh at him as I grabbed my army boots and slid out the door and went to the shower.

···

I slid my boots on and walk to the kitchen. Out the window it was still dark, but quiet. The rained had stopped, but there was a slight low breeze. The clouds we black and looked angry as if the storm had some unfinished business, like the night terrors I had, everything seemed almost... Fake.

"Strange..."

I went over to the sink to fill the coffee pot full of water as I start to hear a faint chopping sounds like a fan or something. I walked back a placed the coffee pot under the whole where the dark liquid trickled out and into the pot. The chopping sounds still hasn't gone away, but has gotten louder. Maybe I'm hearing things...

I reached into the cabinet and took out a glass when the sound went right over the house and shook everything. It was a helicopter. I went out to the living room and looked out the window to see my death waiting for me.

The glass cup slipped out of my hand and fell to the floor, shattering into a million pieces just like my heart. The pieces were scattered all over the floor as I stood there in shock at what I was looking at.

Hundreds of police officers and army officials were gathered around the house, behind walls of dirt filled bags, behind police cars, behind trees and bushes. Everywhere.

"G.... G... GUUYYYYSSS!!!!"

I screamed as loud as I could.

"GUUUYYYYSSSS!!!"

I yelled as I ran towards the hall way. I banged on all their doors and ran into my room. I flew through the door and jumped onto my bed on top of thomas.

"Tom!! Tom get up!! They're here!!"

I shook him viciously as his eye lids opened instantly.

"What?! What! Who's here?!"

He asked as I jumped off him and went over to my desk and shuffled through my tools and weapons.

"The government, army, police. They're outside!!!"

I yelled as my heart pounded in my chest as if it was going to pop right out.

I grabbed my guns and put one in the back of my belt loop and two in the front of my pants. I clipped on two knives to my pockets.
