Good day, lovely readers!
This chapter is shorter than usual, but that is how my chapters will be from now on.
This chapter isn't very interesting, it really just gets Kit all set up in Storybrooke.
Enjoy!

I woke up today, my warm covers wrapped around me, and I knew that something bad was about to happen.I couldn't shake the feeling all morning.
And then it happened.
A mist, it's color a royal purple, was rolling straight towards me.
The queen succeeded.
There was no where to run or hide, and I knew that I would just have to wait.
My thoughts were filled with images of the handsome pirate I had broken the previous day, and I already knew that I regretted my actions.
Finally, the mist was covering me.
I love you, Killian. Or at least, I think I do.

"Dude, we should like, probably get up. It's nearly, like, 10:00,"I heard my friend Christian groan.
Violently stretching and emitting a series of strange gurgling noises, I sat up, my back making crackling noise.
This damn van will never be comfortable.
Christian got up on her feet, keeping her back low to avoid hitting the roof of the van while waddling to the front, shifting herself into the drivers seat. I threw off my blanket and joined her, resting my sore buttocks in the passengers seat.
"Ima go to Grannies. Want anything?" She asked, running a pale hand through her brown locks.
I shook my head, pushing my black hair out of my eyes. "Nah."
She slid herself out of the car, adjusting her boots while walking out of our clearing.
Life inside of Christian and I's car wasn't luxurious, but it's the lifestyle we chose.
After ten minutes of waking up, I also slid out of the van, walking to its side so that I could check the paint work. Every now and then stupid kids would try to chip the van, so I make a point of checking it each morning.
A daisy with a cartoonish smile gazed back at me, it's petals unflawed. The words "Kat's Mad Machine" were scrawled next to it in cursive. Both went perfectly together on top of the mint blue background.
Satisfied that my paint job was safe, I shuffled over to the old fashioned restaurant that went by the name of Grannie's, pulling open the door. I waved to Christian, pointing to the restroom as I walked past her.
Once I was done with my business, I stopped by Christian where she sat at the old fashioned bar like area.
"I've got to get to work, the boss wants me starting early today because he's increasing my pay,"I muttered to her, smiling at Granny, the woman who ran the restaurant, at the same time. Christian nodded and I went on my merry way.
Gepedo (dear lord I hope I spelled that right) waved at me eagerly as I walked up to his garage.
"Good morning Kat, glad to see you are ready to work. Ms. Mills' car died the other day and I can't seem to figure out why, so would you mind working on it?" He asked kindly.
Adjusting my sleeveless Pink Floyd top, I grabbed a wrench, replying,"of course, sir."
Ms. Mills, our mayor, was not necessarily a kind lady, so I worked as hard and fast on her car as I possibly could.
After 7 hours of wrenching, oiling, and drilling (does that even happen in car repairs? Idk, I'm not familiar with this stuff but at least I'm trying cx) Regina's car was fixed and ready to roll.
"It runs!" I yelled to Gepedo, wiping some oil onto my faded blue jeans.
He looked up from his work, smiled, and yelled back,"Give her a call so she knows that it's ready!"
After five rings, she picked up.
"What?" She began, rudely.
Biting my tongue, I said,"Good afternoon Madam Mayor, I just wanted to let you know that your car is ready for pick up."
I could hear Regina take a deep breath, like she was trying to regain her composure.
"Ah, thank you. What was wrong with it?" She asked kindly, obviously trying to clean up her attitude. Damn right.
"Nothing in particular, some of the insides just needed to be cleaned."
"Oh, alright. I will be there to pick it up in the morning."
"Alright, Ms. Mills. Have a lovely evening."
And then the phone call ended as abruptly as it started.
I told Gepedo what she had said, received my daily payment from him, and took the walk back my van.
"Henry, you can't run away again. Your mother is probably worried sick about you!"
I looked to my right to see a blond woman in a yellow buggy bickering with the son of the mayor.
He must have actually ran away this time...
The blond woman was unfamiliar, and I could tell she was new in town.
Hm, odd. No one new ever comes here.
Little did I know that this would be the first odd occurrence of many.
