There you were. On your wedding day, sitting in the back, staring at yourself in the mirror.
Were you ready for this? Probably not. But you loved him. You know you did.

The real question was 'Are you in love with him?' Loving someone is different than being in love with someone. You heard your bridesmaid come in and tell you that they would be starting in 2 minutes.

You looked in the mirror one last time and knew this was the right thing. You were in love for God's sake. Whatever the thought about only loving him a minute ago was silliness. He was for you. 100%.

You fixed the veil on your head, then left the room. You grabbed your fathers arm, as he wiped a tear, and you two heard the music start playing. All of the people in front of you started walking, and then you came out.

Everyone was cheering and crying, laughing and smiling, clapping and whistling. You had a special kind of family, that's for sure. You couldn't help but smile the biggest you could've ever smiled, and looked up to your soon-to-be husband.

Michael was crying at the sight of you. You were so beautiful in his eyes, and he didn't know how he won you over. As you walked up next to him, tearing up from happiness like him, it took all the both of you had not to jump into each others' arms and never let go. But it would have to wait until the end of the ceremony.

As everyone quieted down, you looked out into the crowd of friends and family, and of course, in the back, there was Luke.

Luke, your ex. Luke, the man you had an affair with when you dated Alex. Luke, the one you repeatedly got back together with. Luke, who broke your heart too many times. Luke, the one you still have feelings for, even when you're in love with someone else. Luke, your first everything. Luke, the man who tried, and is still trying, to prevent your wedding. Luke, your fiancé's best friend and band mate.

He was smiling bright from the seventh and last row. Biting his lip. Staring at you with his bright, lust full eyes. It's obvious what he wants. He has no shame in it, and would tear you out of this church if it weren't for Michael being his best friend.

Why wasn't Luke his best man, might you ask? Michael didn't want Luke that close to you. He knows Luke likes you more than he should. He knows Luke respects that you will be married in an hour, but he still wants to keep you two separated for as long as possible.

Michael knows the past between you two. Michael knows, that when Luke wants something, he tries his hardest to get it. But that's what you love about Luke.

Once that thought popped into your mind you shook your head and looked up at Michael, his white-blonde hair matching your dress. He dyed it like that on purpose so that he didn't have to wear a matching tie.

You smiled up at him, and he turned to look down at you. He smiled and grabbed your hand. Everyone had just quieted down, but as soon as he grabbed your hand, they were all loud again. You two laughed at each other and looked at them all again.

Luke was staring again and you could see his breadstick in his pants, which wasn't good, and you let go of Michael's hand. Luke realized and looked down at his pants, and smirked when he looked back up. The smile on your face faded and you blushed.

The man behind you came up and started talking. After saying your cows and finishing the speaking part, it was official.

You were now Mrs. Clifford. A kiss sealed it all. It's kind of funny how that's all it takes for it to happen, but it does. Life is funny.

At the reception, which was held in a giant building 20 minutes away, everything was set up. Music was playing and everything was perfect. You and Michael were celebrating in your hotel room and readying to go a little later to make an entrance together.
