Chapter 3

New town, new school. I was going to Forks High School with my sister. That was gonna be a little weird. As long as she didn't embarrass me. She has a knack for that, especially with her clumsiness.

"Ella! Get out of the bathroom! We're gonna be late!" Bella yelled.

"Calm down! You act like a shower is gonna make you look better than you already are." I snarled. I didn't like it when people rushed me. Beauty takes time.

"Dad!" Bella yelled at our father. "Ella won't get out the bathroom!"

I could almost hear Charlie sigh. The struggles of having two teenage daughters. I almost felt bad, then I didn't when I remembered my annoying sister banging on the door.

"Ella!"

"Calm down! I'm coming out!" I swung open the door, and them walked to my room. I took out a pink cropped top with gray leggings and pink converses. I put a jean jacket over it. I looked stunning. Charlie came in as I was posing in front the mirror.

"Ella.."

"Yes?" I asked, turning around.

"Now, I want you to get good grades. No distractions. You hear me? No late night texting, no parties, no boys. Understand?"

"Why not give Bella the same talk?"

"Because your sister is more focused than you are." And smarter, and quieter and less likely to be fun. I was so tired of this Bella-fest. It was all about her, wasn't it?

"Fine. No distractions."

"Good." I rolled my eyes.

"Can I go to school now?"

"Wait for your sister to get out the bathroom." I sighed. I grabbed my floral bookbag and sat on the couch. My iPhone beeped. I looked at it. An email, from my friend Emily at home. We were best frineds at home. I read the message on my phone.

Dear Ella,

How's Forks? Everything back home has been hectic. Did you see the new Teen Vogue cover with Justin Bieber on it? Hella sexy. Anyway, back to my hectic teenage life, Gregory says hi. He misses you. You should see the way he looks at all our old photos. He's practically drooling over you. Anyways, you have got to email me back. Tell me everything! About your room, your "sister" and all the cute boys that live in that small town! Although, I doubt there are any. Don't forget to tell me about school either. I really wanna see you sista! Love ya!

xoxo Emily aka Gossip Girl

I loved this girl so much and I missed Gregory too. He was my best friend who I've been crushing on since 6th grade. He was the cutest. We called Emily Gossip Girl, because she knew everything that was going on the moment it happened. It was insane. Like she had a gossip radar. I pressed "Compose message" and emailed her back.

Dear Emily,

Forks is so boring. And cold. And no! I forgot to have all my Teen Vogue magazines sent to Forks. Justin Bieber's on it?! No way! I've got to check it out. Surprisingly, there are some cute boys. One especially. His name is Jacob. He's from the Quilete Reservation and is soooo hot! He's only a year older than me. Ahhh! He came over with his father because my dad bought Bella a car as a welcome home present. He even built the engine. An hot engineer! Can you believe it? Its only a matter of time before he's mine. Oh and tell Gregory I said hi.

xoxo Ella the Daring

Bella came running downstairs in a long sleeve brown shirt and jeans. How simple. I grab a raincoat and sprint to the car. She follows. She gets into the front seat and I, into the passenger.
