Chapter 7
I laid in bed for hours, staring around the room. The pink walls kept me calm, content. I considered listening to music, to make me sleep, but then decided against it. It would only make my insomnia worse. I'd been laying here for 4 hours. It was 1:12 in the morning. I couldn't bring myself to sleep I guess.
My mind kept racing, trying to figure out what we wrong with this town. That's how it all started I guess, this town. I didn't start having these feelings until I got here. Then, Mr. Suave, aka Edward Cullen shows up, and I have these terrifying visions that he somehow leads Bella to her death. Then, I meet a mysterious boy on the beach whose father has something to do with Sam Uley. And what's with this wolf? Like this whole thing didn't make sense enough. There's just so many bits and pieces I have to sort through, it's too much.
Part of my mind just thinks I'm over thinking this. Maybe this is all just coincidence. Maybe there's no big secret or no big explanation. Just scattered facts, further scattering the sanity of my mind. But then there's my eyes. That blue vibrant color they turned at the hospital, that was crazy. I never told anyone, but when it happened, it felt like I was getting closer to something, seeing something. Something scary, and something heartbreaking.
Well, I guess thinking was good for one thing: going to sleep, because that's what eventually happened. My mind drifted off into darkness somewhere.
I was in the woods again. It was night out. The trees formed a circle around me. Their branches twisted and turned together, holding hands, in a synchronized manner. It was like they were alive, and they were staring at me. Inside the nature-made circle, there was no grass or flowers or twigs, only dirt. It was flattened down with no bumps or craters and it was hard.
I looked down at my clothes. I was wearing a black strapless high-low dress. It was tight at my curves and loose everywhere else. The top was a silk black fabric, and the bottom was lace. I didn't remember putting it on, but I didn't care. It was gorgeous.
I heard a whimper from across the circle. It wasn't a sad or hurt one, it was more like a whimper of pleasure. I looked up, and Bella caught my eye. She was in a white dress. From what I could see of her, it was a mermaid gown. The top was tight and a shiny white, almost silver color. It hugged at her curves too, and it wasn't loose anywhere. How she wasn't suffocating, I would never know.
"Your always trying to outdo me, aren't you sister?" I asked her. She didn't say anything.
Then, next to her suddenly appeared Edward Cullen. He was in a stunning suit and tie. His tie, jacket and slacks were black, and his shirt was white. It looked expensive, like Louis Vuitton and Dolce and Gabbana collaborated.
He turned towards Bella, and kissed her, right there, in front of me. I saw the back of her dress from where I was standing. It was an intricate lace design, that extended from her neck, to just above her butt. Always trying to outdo me sister.
As they were kissing, a wolf appeared. It's russet brown skin didn't ruffle, the air was still. It didn't lunge at me or even come near me. It just stared at me with it's intense eyes. It's intense, brown eyes. Jacob. It was Jacob. How can that be? He was on one side with Bella. On the other side was the black wolf. The same one that was in my first dream when I got here. Sam. Sam and Jacob. Awkward. He was standing with Edward, but he didn't watch me like Jacob did, he watched Edward, like he was his prison guard.
Suddenly, something smashed into me. It was Seth.
"Ella!" He yelled my name in desperation.
"Seth? What's going on?"
"You have to run Ella! Run before they get you!" He was trying to push me out the way. At the same time, Bella, Edward, and Sam's eyes all snapped towards me. Their faces expressionless.
