What Aston Merrygold Did..

Part 60

after a couple of weeks with the baby me and aston started to get into a routine. Life was perfect. Madison was the most beautiful baby ever who was already so well behaved and such a daddies little girl. I guess right now everything is too good to be true. Even being a mum seems too easy but maybe that's because all she does is cry for food or to be changed and then she goes back to sleep. Plus Aston has been helping out so much!
Since its been two weeks, Aston has to go back to work and I do as well although Aston keeps trying to put me off but our mums both said they wouldn't mind looking after Madison whenever we ask. Obviously now being a mum I can't keep travelling the world for work and interviewing celebrities for magazines so my boss offered a 9-5 job in the office, just editing. The pay was still the same which I was grateful for so of course I took it.
I woke up before Aston and Madison, getting the shower. I jumped out and slipped back into our bedroom to get dressed. They were both still sleeping. I checked the time, 8AM.  That gave me enough time to get ready and drop Madison off to my mums on the way to work.
I put on black trousers with a baby pink blouse. I pinned sides of my hair around my head with some bobby pins and then got started on my makeup. I decided to keep it natural, opting for no eyeshadow.
I finished the look with pink lipgloss. Checking the time it was now 8:24AM. I went downstairs preparing Madison's bottle and Aston some breakfast. Taking them back upstairs, I began to wake Aston up.
He eventually woke up giving me a precious smile. "Good Morning beautiful" his morning voice filled the air. "Morning baby,  I made some breakfast and you should get up its pasted half eight" I smiled.
I got up and went to the side of Madison's cot, to my surprise she was awake just looking up at me, smiling silently. "Mm good morning princess" I cooed as I picked her up. I sat her on my lap and started giving her, her morning feed.
Aston started getting ready around me before taking Madison and finishing off her feed. I double checked I had everything for Madison in her bag for my mum and put her car seat in the back of my car making sure it was placed correctly.
Back inside, Aston came downstairs carrying our princess. "Babe you know you don't have to go back to work, you should have a couple more weeks off, you know I earn enough to look after all of us" Aston tried to persuade me. "and you should know me by now that I don't want to sit around all day, we have to get back into work." I replied. "You Miss Conway, are way too stubborn" Aston mumbled. "But you love me" I grinned taking Madison off him ready to put her into the car seat. "That I do, now have a good day. you can finish early remember or if you get tired just ring me up and-" Aston started. "Yes I know, but I will be fine okay? I'm a big girl remember, also save the nagging for Madison in about 14 years. Love you" I said. Getting to the car and double checking I have everything. "You forgot something" Aston smirked. "No I haven't?" I questioned. "Mm I think you have" Aston smiled coming closer.  Realising that I forgot to give him a kiss. I leaned in, closed the gap and pecked his lips.
"Better" Aston grinned. I smiled.
"Now drive safe, tell me when you reach your mums house and your office. Love you" Aston called as I reversed out the drive way.
"Love you" Was all I managed to say before driving down the road towards my mums.

I got to my mums, rushing worrying about being late for work with the time being 8:45AM. Mentally cursing Aston for giving me lectures and wasting time. As I undid Madison's seatbelt, my mum came out to take her bag and Madison.I gave her a kiss on the head while telling mum "I have to shoot off mum, but please let me know if she's any problems and I will pick her up straight away also can you just text Aston that you have her, I don't have time to! Thanks for this, I love you" I said all at once and driving off before she had the chance to reply.
