18 YEAR OLD GIRL WITH ASSUMED MENTAL ILLNESS COMMITS SUICIDE

Addison Chansen, a high school student at West High, commuted suicide on October 12, 2015.

The young girl appeared at Diver Park, where she was last seen jumping off a cliff located in the park.

Witnesses say she appeared to be talking to herself, but other than that, she looked perfectly fine.

"She started walking, it was like she was in a daze, until she came right up to the big cliff. I was going to ask if everything was alright... but before I could make up my mind, she simply jumped. I was shocked, I didn't know what to do." Says witness Eli Hamilton, who was on site the day of the tragedy.

Officials say that they found letters in her room addressed to a boy from her childhood with the name of Niall. In these letters, Addison speaks of "voices" and how they were "coming back". Many assume that she had the mental illness, Schizophrenia.

Her funeral will be held on October 20th. Her mother, Danielle Chansen states, "All are welcome to celebrate her short life."

this is my first ever finished story and I'm proud of myself in a way because I suck at keeping an idea going.

But here some things I've been thinking and I'm going to let you guys choose:

1. I make up an alternative ending that is happier (where you can choose this ending or the sad one)

2. I write a sequel but from Niall's point of view after Addison dies (but don't make up an alternative ending)
