Jinx Pov

It's been a really good day so far. Wally's friends are very polite, and surprisingly welcoming. Except for one girl, with a blonde ponytail, all day she's been giving me a murderous look, so I gave her an even scarier one. I don't know why she hates me so much, but I'm assuming it's because I'm a villan- er, ex-villan. Other than that they've all been pretty understanding of my situation.

I've been kinda on edge all day. Partly because the Academy was due at the tower hours ago, and I know they must not have been pleased when they found out me and Evie weren't there, and partly because I haven't seen Evie in a while. Everybody keeps telling me to relax, that she's 'probably with Bart and Gar.' Well 'probably' isn't good enough. I need to see her with my own eyes. Wow, I sound really mom-ish right now... Okay, maybe I do need to calm down.. She can handle herself, right?

"So," a low voice whispered in my ear, making me flinch. "What do you think?"

"Don't do that, Wally."

"Why?" He smirked. "Did I scare you?"

"No, you didn't scare me, I was just... Caught off guard.."

"Or you were scared."

"If you wanna know the definition of the word 'scared' then keep talking." I hissed. "What do you want anyway?"

"Well for starters, I want you to relax. I swear i won't let anything happen to you. And I want to know what you think... Of everything."

"Well first of all I am relaxed, thank you very much. And have you seen Evie recently?" He looked a little disappointed that I didn't answer his question.

"Yeah I just saw her, she's playing video games with Impulse and Beast Boy. And she's crushing them too!"

"Hah. Sounds like Evie... Sooo, her and your cousin, huh?" A huge smile spread across Wally's face and I could tell he was just as enthusiastic as me about this.

"She's got him speechless in there! And trust me, he never. Shuts. Up."

"I didn't even know her face could get that red!"

"We're gonna embarrass the life outta them, right Jinx?"

"Oh yeah, big time!" We high fived and I'm sure we were grinning like idiots too. We are way more excited then we should be about making fun of them...

We walked down a looong hallway, with smug grins on our faces, ready for payback. Wally stopped at a door and held it open for me, and Evie's giggles could be heard over the loud music. We walked down a short flight of steps, to see Evie, Bart, and Beast Boy, or 'Gar' as I've been told, in front of a huge flat screen, playing guitar hero.

"Here, I can show you!" Bart wrapped his arms around Evie, moving her hands to the correct positions on the fake guitar.

This is priceless!! Evie is the master of guitar hero, and basically every game ever!

"I think I got it now! Thanks Bart!" She cooed.

Wally and I were enjoying this so much, we didn't wanna ruin it, but then beast boy must've noticed us standing there, holding In our laughter.

"Dudes, I'm glad you're here! I'm third wheeling so hard!" Both Evie and Bart turned away at that, pretending they didn't hear it.

"Wow, Evie, how did you get so bad at guitar hero? You play it like 24/7."
