Evie Pov

"Hey, lovebirds! Could you stop being cute for a minute, I made food." Haha Jinx is gonna kill me, but I can't help myself, it's fun to tease her. She fell asleep on top of Wally on the couch last night, and that's how I found them this morning. Don't worry though, I got a picture before I woke them up. Well- woke her up. Wally's been up, he's just pretending to sleep. But Jinx is out cold.

Her eyes fluttered open, then they bugged out and she rolled off Wally and landed on the ground. I'm a good friend for not laughing at her.

"Morning, sunshine." I looked down at my feet, where Jinx's head was. She just groaned. Wally yawned and stretched and pretended to just be waking up now. "You guys better hurry up if you want breakfast."

They followed me to the kitchen.

"What'd you make?"

"I'm glad you asked. I have prepared for you: spaghetti, but you didn't have sauce so I just used ketchup, leftover fried chicken, olives, and birthday cake flavored birthday cake."

Kid flash looked at me like I was crazy, but Jinx mumbled 'looks great' and dug into her ketchup pasta.

One of the best things about living with the h.i.v.e five was I would get up early every morning and cook literarily anything and they would all eat it, with no complaints. One time I handed mammoth a potato and he ate it in one bite.

"So, Evie, I was thinking maybe today Jinx and I could take you to meet some friends of mine, the team, and ya know... See what you think? Would you like that?"

I stared at him with wide eyes "You mean, you think they might let me join?"

"Are you kidding? They'd be happy to have you."

"Jinx too?"

"If she wants to.."

I looked at Jinx but she stuffed like 5 olives in her mouth at once, so i looked back at Wally.

"What if they don't like me?"

"They will. And if any one gives you a hard time, just let me know, okay?"

"Okay, Wally."

"Yeaf me too, I'll beat da crap outta themp." Jinx said, while eating a mouthful of cake.

"I know you will, Jinxie." I stood up and put my plate in the sink. "I'm gonna go get dressed."

I grabbed my duffel bag and started pulling out clothes. I have to make a good impression on these people. It would be a dream come true to be a hero. I never really got the chance to be good, I was kind of just pushed into being a villain..

I decided on wearing a long sleeve grey shirt with army green shorts and my chucks, because I don't have a 'uniform' I kinda just wear whatever I want. I put my hair up in space buns, as usual, took one last look in the mirror, and left the bathroom. Jinx walked in after me and shut the door. Wally slept in his uniform, so he was ready to go.

While we waited for Jinx to get ready, Wally told me about the people I would be meeting.

"- and then there's my cousin, Bart, he's from the future-"

"The future?!"

"Yeah, anyways, he's the one that likes chicken whizzies. I think you two will get along well,"

"Ready?" Jinx emerged from the bathroom and threw Wally's shirt at him.

"Yup. Wait how are we getting there?"

"My friends M'gann and Nightwing are waiting outside. Let's go!"

We got outside, but I didn't see anybody-

"WOAH!" A huge space ship looking thing appeared outta nowhere, and out came a green lady, and a guy I recognized as robin, or 'nightwing' now, and he didn't look happy. He pulled Wally away to talk, and the lady invited us in the ship thing.

"Hello! I'm M'gann, but you can call me Megan if you want."

"Hi, M'gann, I'm-" Megan cut jinx off

"Jinx! We've heard all about you!" Jinx's face flushed, and M'gann turned to me. "And you must be Evie! Wally called and told us he thinks you'd make a great addition to the team." I gave her a smile and she returned it. "Oh! Have a seat."

Within a few minutes kid flash and Nightwing returned, and we took off.

After some interrogation from Nightwing, and some convincing from Wally, they let us in. As soon as I entered the room I felt like I was in over my head.

The place was huge and there were a ton of people! As soon as I walked in they all turned and stared at us. I tried my best to look cool, and not completely overwhelmed.

"Everyone," Wally started ",this is Jinx and Evie. Jinx and Evie, this is everyone."

I tried to get a good look at all of them, I recognized some of them from what Wally told me.

"They'll be stay-"

"AHH!" I screamed as something flew by me, knocking me to the ground.

"I'm sorr- OW!" Out of instinct I sprung up and punched the guy in the gut. He doubled over and my hands flew to my mouth in shock. Great. I've been here a minute and I already punched one of them! There goes my shot at being part of a team...

"I- um.. Force of habit. Are you ok?" I could hear everyone in the room laughing. At least they weren't mad.

"I'm fine." He said with a forced smile

"Really, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to hit you."

"And I didn't mean to run into you, so I guess we're even." I smiled at the stranger that I accidentally punched. He was really attractive... And he smelled good... What was that smell?

I turned around when I heard someone clear their throat, and i felt my face heating up. We had just been staring at each other, and now this is really awkward.

"So, as I was saying, they'll be staying with us for the day."

Jinx Pov

yES YES YES YES!! Evie so likes that kid! There's gonna be revenge! So. Much. Revenge. Ha! I'll get her back for every time she teased me about Wally. This is gonna be great!

"Jinx? Jinx!!"

"Wha-?"

"C'mon! I want you to meet my friends! They're gonna love you!" Wally's eyes lit up and he looked super excited. Like more excited than usual.

"What about Evie?"

"Don't worry, my cousin will show her around." I looked around to see Evie standing with the boy who she just punched. It's kid Flash's cousin?! Even better! Evie had her hands on her hips and was blinking way too much for the average person. "They seem to be getting along well, don't they?"

Oh, how naïve is he?

"Oh, yeah, real well." I gave him an evil smirk.

"Why are you talking like that?" I obviously have some work to do. I nodded my head towards them and Wally seemed to catch on when he saw Evie place her hand on the kids shoulder flirtatiously, him looking away with a blush on his face.

"You don't think..." He looked between me and them.

"Oh yes, I do think." We shared evil grins, and he started to walk towards them. I put my hand on his chest to stop him "Not just yet." He nodded and I walked with him to meet some of his friends, continually glancing at Evie and Wally's cousin. Well this is gonna be fun...
