Black Roses~8

The car ride home was quiet, my dad was driving his own car home as I was in mums, with Luke and Mike.

Everything felt numb, I just wanted to scream, I felt as if now my world had fell apart.

Once we pulled up at home, Calum and Ashton were sat at the door, waiting for us.

"I need to go, I'm sorry." Mum said before running into the woods, tears running down her face. I walked up to Calum and held my arms out for a hug, just as I got close enough, my fist clenched and I punched him right in the face. Calum fell against the door and I crawled on top of him.

"I fucking hate you! It's your fault he's dead, go die, you piece of shit!" I screamed punching him over and over, it only stopped when Luke and Michael grabbed me, pulling me away from the now bleeding punk teen.

"Scarlett, calm down. Luke can you take her to her room while I clean up Calum," my dad said, Ashton was staring at me in anger but I looked at the ground as Luke and Michael pulled me away.

I was taken to my room where I just collapsed on the floor and cried.

Luke scooped me up, laying me in his lap, his arm under my legs and the other around my bag.

"It's okay, cry it out, you told me it would work and it did, you do the same."

"I don't know what I'm gonna do with out him, he's what got me through the day. Now he's gone."

He just held me and that was truly all I needed.

Or maybe what I needed was my little sunshine.
