3rd person
Turwaithiel was done packing. She waited for the Lord and Lady to see them off. She wasn't going to leave their realm without saying so. She never expected to end up here and now Lord Elrond was sure to know of her whereabouts. She wondered if he was cross with her. She would be, if she was in his position. She'd be furious.
She paced the room she had been given, it had been two days since Ari had come. They were not permitted to leave immediately, much to Legolas' reluctancy, simply because a band of wild men had been spotted near the realms borders. Something dark and treacherous was scheming about in the woods and in the world in general.
She did not complain about their extended stays for she loved Lothlorién and the peace that surrounded it. Two days had also been enough to decide whether Bleon should come along or stay. He was bidden to stay, for it was quite dangerous for a boy to be roaming around these days. Especially one who was mortal. The Lady did not seem to mind the arrangements, for she seemed to have grown fond of the boy.
Bleon was beyond grateful. It was not a secret that he wanted to stay and was enamored by the Lady. Besides, she could speak to him without saying a word and Bleon found a comfort in that.
Turwaithiel stopped pacing when a knock came to her door. She snatched up her bag and slung it over her shoulders before opening the door to one of the elven maids. She bowed low before telling her she was summoned by the Lord and Lady.
Turwaithiel nodded once before following the elven maid. Ari and Haldir had left the night before, because Ari could no longer wait and she preferred to travel in the dark. Haldir found it odd but being his closed self, he did not utter a single word about it.
Turwaithiel met with Legolas at the foot of the long staircase where they were brought to the first night they came. He was obviously not in a better mood and he looked like he had not slept. At all. Worry grew inside her as she stepped closer to him as they waited for the Lord and Lady. She could feel the restlessness about him. His growing unease in which she shared. She worried for Mantheniel.
Turwaithiel wanted to reach out to him. To gently place a hand over his to tell him it was going to be okay but she could not seem to will herself to do so. So she just watched him discreetly as the Lady descended the stairs alone.
"Go now," she began. Her voice ringing through their ears like a beautiful soft melody. She spoke to them yet her eyes were focused on something far away. "May the stars shine upon your journey and may the Valar keep you safe." Her eyes flickered briefly over Turwaithiel and there was a silent warning in them before two elven maids rush beside her, each carrying a pack of provisions and a cloak.
"These will help you on your journey," she stated as the elven maids handed a pack to each traveller. Each pack had food, clothes and even medicine. After the packs had been handed, the elven maids proceeded to clasp the cloak around Legolas and Turwaithiel. "The cloaks will keep you warm."
Then there was silence again before Lady Galadriel walked over to them and handed a small vial in shape of leaves, to Turwaithiel. She glanced up at the Lady with confusion.
"Use it only when necessary," the Lady explained. "It heals wounds effectively but it takes a long time before it works."
Turwaithiel gave a silent nod before keeping the vial in her pocket. Bleon came bounding down the stairs and ran up to wrap his arms around Turwaithiel who placed a kiss on his head.
"I will see you soon," she whispered to the boy and then they were off with Rumil guiding them.
"There have been more orcs passing through these days," he told them as they walked quietly through the golden wood. "Something evil is brewing, I reckon."
