E M I L I A -

 Alpha Emilia,

The rebellion's killing spree of she-wolves has increased to sixty she-wolves weekly, raising more awareness. Pack members are furious and are willing to do anything to help prevent more deaths from happening. All four packs have successfully made identification cards for everyone in the pack. Pack members are using them so any outsiders will immediately be caught. Alpha's from the UK are asking if Alpha's here need assistance and insist on sending she-wolves to guard all five packs when and if you Alpha's decide you need them. Escort Gabriel is now demanding your presence; he claims that he has vital information about the rebellion, how to find the person in charge, and most importantly, how to end the rebellion for good. I've gotten the picture of Alex and will be looking out for him. Alex is the Beta for the rebellion. I know that much already, and he's the only face of the rebellion; the Alpha remains incognito. There's something off about their scent - it's not their own scent. It's as if they carry a scent designed to allow them to blend in without raising suspicion. I'll be looking into that as well.

Glad to be of service Alpha Emilia,

Kale.

When I reread the letter, it's just another reminder that I can never catch my breath. Tom's still in the infirmary, the rebellion's body count still grows by the week, and the news is spreading like a wildfire.

Who is this person? I truly don't understand how someone can live with being responsible for so many deaths to random people who probably didn't deserve it. He must have had a terrible childhood, or maybe he's insane. No, he can't be insane - insanity isn't this meticulous. Some part of him must be sane, but just how sane? Sane enough to have a hatred for she-wolves in power and insane enough to kill without thought, that's for sure.

I wonder if he's more in touch with his animalistic side, which would make sense. Wolves are predators, and they don't concern themselves with feelings and emotions other than pain, anger, power and hunger. Maybe for this wolf, he's more wolf than human. It was like that for me before Tom, but I didn't turn into the person this wolf is now.

Maybe a she-wolf in power hurt him and the only thing he could do was rebel - that also makes sense. Maybe it was like what Halle did to Tom and Kevin. What if he was manipulated and abused, and what if unlike Tom and Kevin, he wasn't saved? That could be the reason why he targets only she-wolves in power. But in order for him to recruit men, have them execute perfect, five-minute kidnappings and killings, he'd need information, privacy, and space without capturing unwanted information. How is he getting it?

There has to be someone giving him information from inside the packs; that's the only way whoever's in charge could have one, known about the meeting; two, known when to show up to the store; and three, known how many wolves they needed to bring to knock the men unconscious in the store and kill the she-wolves. All of those details, all the things that could've gone wrong but didn't... someone's giving them information and making sure everything goes smoothly. It's the only way.

Still, something has to be done about it. And like Kale says in his letter, if my mother's mate swears up and down he knows something vital, then I'll have to hear him out because it's my duty as Alpha to listen if it means saving lives. Maybe. I don't know. Should I? When Tom wakes up, I'll ask him. His words are law to me.
