E M I L I A -
Him talking so business-like and acting so sexy is the only thing that can fully take my mind off of the orgasm he gave me not too long ago. My very first orgasm.
My God, I'm blushing. Annabelle shoots me a questioning look, so I just roll my eyes and stick my tongue out at her in response. Her mortified face eggs me on but I shake my head seriously and focus back on Tom.
It's his first time having both a pack meeting and a meeting specifically with the security of the pack. That's what I'll call them: the Trackers, Guards, Beta's, Pack Doctors and the Third in Command. And Tom did great. Sure he made his tiny little mistake but it did lessen the tension in the meeting, making the entire pack open up to him, their Alpha. And plus, Tom's new to this and I know he's nervous. He scowls like a child being told he can't get candy every time his nerves get the best of him, making me want to bite his lip until his focus is on me and the nerves are long gone.
I wonder if feeling like this is what killed my mom. The thought itself makes me sober up. What am I drunk on? Tom. His kisses are addictive like candy and being in his hold, with his arms tightened around me, makes me feel safe and so loved. I should've never questioned him or pushed him away, but then again, I'm grateful that I did. If I didn't, how would I feel this extent of gratitude and happiness? I wouldn't.
"Why hasn't our pack been targeted yet?" Jamie asks curiously and all eyes turn to Tom, who looks at me, and then at them.
"Honestly, I think that it has something to do with Emilia or her mother, being as Emilia just took over the pack two years ago. Why else wouldn't our pack get hit? Whatever the rebellion's plan is, I know one thing for sure: this pack is their endgame. That information alone tells me that there's someone here who's giving the rebellion information."
"And whoever that is," I interrupt, "will be caught and handled effectively. Besides, it's not anyone here, no one's heart is beating unusually fast. I've studied every pack member in this pack and no one has been brought here, so they're not trained without my knowledge. All my specifically trained Trackers aren't on pack land. Sorry for interrupting Tom. Do continue."
"Thank you Emilia." Tom says smiling softly to me before turning back to everyone, who watches our exchange pleasingly. "If we find out who the person is that's giving information, or better yet, why the person leading the rebellion is targeting this pack last, then we'll know how to properly prepare and stop this rebellion efficiently. Any questions?" Tom asks, staring everyone down.
Everyone nods at him. "No, Alpha." They all look at him with a new found respect while I just can't stop thinking about how this - Tom and me - was always meant to be.
At the end of the meeting, everyone's fully prepped for what to do. There's been a change of schedules. Trackers run around our land every 15 minutes while Guards stand post 24/7. When a Guard leaves his post or takes a break, another guard takes his spot immediately, leaving no room for slip ins or mistakes. My Third in Command, Jace, is in charge of finding any possible pack members who might have unlimited access and time to leave the pack land without me knowing, if they wanted to. And my Beta's are calling up all the other Alpha's to ask who's willing to have the meeting, what day works for everyone, and most importantly the time and place. Needless to say, everyone left the meeting knowing exactly what was going on and the type of perfection Tom and I expected to be achieved, making the both of us very happy with the way the day's events played out.
