The Girl That Lies In The Shadows

The girl that lies in the shadows is me

my eyes are the only thing you can see

For I am deep in the shadows of regret

something that many of us fret

But this is where I belong

for this is where I am strong

I am the creature of your nightmares

the ones that give you many scares

I am not normal as you can tell

but this is not something you should dwell

I am a moster in the closet

I am a dangerous thret

I can kill you with one evil glare

so you should prepare

For what I have instore for you

these shadows I will break through

I will come to get you very soon

maybe even this afternoon

I will break free you can count on that

afraid you should be cause soon you'll be splat

This I know of for sure so beware

because soon you won't be aware

For I am the girl that lies

behind the shadows that are very wise..............
