It was a rainy fall day, and you were curled up on the couch watching the fault in our stars, as you went to grab another tissue you felt your phone buzz beside you. You wiped your nose and sapped your eyes, then went to pick up your phone.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Y/N. I was wondering if you're busy today? Maybe we can go to the mall or something?"
"Uh, yeah just let me get dressed."
"Are you crying?"
"Haha, yeah. I was just watching the fault in our stars, nothing to worry about"
"Oh okay, so I'll be at your place in about 20 minutes"
"Okay see you then"
With that you hung up your phone and went to go get ready. You stood at your closet trying to desire what to wear.
You picked a maroon baggy sweater dress with black tights, maroon knee socks and black heel wedges.
You did your makeup light and natural, and waited at the door with your small purse in hand ready for nick to pick you up.

You and nick have been best friends since you where in diapers, but lately you've caught some feelings for him. He's also been acting kinda nervous and weird lately, but you just brush it off.
You hear your doorbell ring and you immediately jump up to answer it, you had to slow down and collect yourself. When you opened the door, all nick did was stare, no words just starring. You had to snap in his face for him to pay attention.
"Oh, sorry"
"It's fine, ready?"
"Yeah"
While you were driving to the mall you noticed that nick kept starring at you, what is up with him you wonder.
You finally get to the mall, and you decide you want to go look in Victoria secret. You tell this to nick and he just nods his head and says he'll be in the food court waiting for you.
You get even more concerned, usually he roles his eyes and goes to another store to blow off time. Maybe you'll ask him later.
After spending about twenty minuets picking things out and purchasing them you walk out of the store and head toward the food court. And there he is sitting and waiting like he said he would be.
You sat infringement of him and starred at him. He looked at you with partly sad and happy eyes, you just gave a small smile.
You two got up and went to stores that you both could enjoy, after a fun day of shopping with nick you guys head back to the car and he drives you home. The drive back from the mall was just as awkward as the drive to the mall.
You get to your house and nick walks you to the door. Before you get a chance to walk in your house he stops you
"Y/N, I need to tell you something."
You look at him with a nervous look
"Yeah?"
"Look, I've been meaning to ask you this, and I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier I just couldn't find it in me tell you but.."
You stop him with a sweet and slow kiss.
He looks at you with a happy hopeful look.
"Just calm down and tell me, trust me It'll be fine."
"Okay, I've liked you for as long as I can remember, and I think it's time to move our best friend relationship to the next level"(cheesy I know)
"Y/N, will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes, yes I will"
"Oh thank goodness, I can breath now"
He smiles
He gives you a passionate kiss, then you invite him in to watch more movies on the couch. You spend the rest of the night like this, in each others arms, just being with each other.
