You walked into the dance studio for the first time this summer, the school year was finally over and you could get back to what you loved, hip hop dancing.
You set your bags down by the wall and started warming up until the other people and instructor came in. While you were warming up you wondered if any of the people that were here last year would be here this year. The practice rooms doors opened interrupting your thoughts.
"Oh! Leijla, nice to see you again! Have you been practicing?" He asked with a smile
"Yes, I have." You replied back with the same smile
More people started to walk in and you were waiting for one specific person to walk in, he was there last year and you because somewhat good friends. His name was Nick, he's a really good dancer too.
Right when class was about to start the doors opened once again but very quickly making it hit the back wall.
Everyone looked wide eyed at the door.
"I'm so sorry I'm late" Nick said running to put his things down
"No problem, get in your places"
The music started and started working on your new choreography, while you were practicing a part of the dance you long wavy brown hair whipped Nick right in the face causing him to lose his balance and fall to the floor.
"Oh my gosh! Are you okay?!" You gasped trying not to laugh
"Never better" he relied with a side smile
"By the way your hair smells really good" you both laughed before beginning to practice once more.
