Hello? You answered the phone quickly thinking it was your boyfriend Nick, but it was someone different. Different but familiar you thought. You've heard this voice many times before, could it be? It couldn't?
"Omg Sam (idk I just picked a random name) how are you? I haven't seen you in ages!
"I'm great, Marianna, hey I was wondering if later on you wanted to get a bite to eat, yah know catch up on all the years?"
"That actually sounds great, how about the small cafe by my house that we always used to go to?" You suggested
"Session meet you there in 5"
With that you hung up the phone and made your way to the cafe. You got there before Sam did so picked a table and ordered your drink.
A couple seconds later, you see Sam walk through the door, I smile spreads across your face as you get up to hug him, but what you don't notice is that Nick just so happened to walk past that cafe as you two were engaged in a hug.
Nicks POV:
What the hell? I had to take a double take to see if what I saw was really what I had seen. And sure enough, it was Marianna hugging a random guy, that I've never met before. And I've met all her family members so I know that it's not a cousin or brother.
They turned toward the window so I quickly continued to back home. I'll talk to her about it then.
Your POV:
"It was so nice seeing you again Sam, I hope we can meet up again soon!"
"Yes, we definitely should, we should meet again tomorrow, and go like shopping or something" Sam beamed
"Okay, I'll text you." You two hugged and went your separate ways.
You walked brought the front door and the first thing you heard when you walked into your house was a booming shout.
"Who was that guy!?"
"What are you talking about?"
"That guy you were hugging at that cafe!"
"What so now you're stalking me?!"
"I wasn't stalking you, I was walking home from work and passed by it, and that's what I saw!"
"Well why don't you ask me first, instead of accusing me of cheating!"
"I never accused you of cheating" he said crossing his arms
At this point the argument was pretty heated.
"Well, yeah you kinda are!"
"Just tell me what happened!"
"Fine, he's my best friend from middle school!"
"Can I not hang out with my best friend that I haven't seen in years? Is that wrong?!" You said getting even more frustrated
"Marianna, I didn't know"
"Well maybe instead of shouting at me, next time try talking to me about it." You said leaving the room.
"I'm really sorry, please don't ignore me."
"I'm not ignoring you I'm just upset that you would think that is do that to you."
"I know I was so wrong for accusing you, I'm sorry."
"It's okay, just don't do it again, okay. Just come to me first before making assumptions."
"Okay, thank you for forgiving me."
Nick hugged you, and you told him about how you were going hang out and go shopping with Sam again tomorrow. He just nodded and kissed your forehead, still apologizing for the way he acted earlier.
