It was Halloween night and you were waiting for Nick to get home so that you two could go to your friends party. Nick said he was going to be home by 8. It was now almost 10 o'clock, and the party starts at 11. You texted him but you got no answer.
You started to get a bit worried that he wasn't answering. You calmed yourself down and started to finish getting ready. As you were putting on your costume you heard your door open and shut.
"Nick? Are you home??" You shouted
No answer, only a floor creek.
You ran to your bed and got nicks bat that he keeps under the bed for emergencies.
You had a tight grip on the bat ready to swing at anything that came toward you.
Slowly you walked toward the kitchen where the front door was. You looked around nothing was there.
You didn't see behind you so when someone grabbed you and covered your mouth, you dropped the bat and shut your eyes as tight as possible.
Since you were panicking you didn't feel the hand lift from your mouth and were replaced with a soft pair of lips that you knew all to well. You leaned into the kiss but then pulled away quickly.
"Nick! I can't believe you just did that to me, you almost gave me a damn heart attack."
"Relax, your knight in shining armor is here." He said with a devilish smirk
"Whatever, just go get ready for the party."
"After one more kiss" he declared putting his index finger up
"Fine" you gave him a kiss and he was off to change.
