It was a partly cloudy day, and you were helping with the raptors, you had your headphones in and your flannel rapped around your waist. You were dancing with your eyes closed so you didn't see the tall guy walking backwoods toward you. You both crashed into each other, your head phones fell out and you landed on top of him.
He stared into your brown eyes and you immediately lifted your self off from him.
You brushed off your white converse and your shirt.
"I'm really sorry, I didn't see you there." You said with embarrassment
"Erm, it's okay I didn't see you either" he laughed
"By the way my names Zach"
"Oh, hi, I-im Kaylee"
You two shook hands for an unusual amount of time
"Do you mind taking us to where your uncle is? We can't find him Anywhere"
"Sure"
You walked across a long field until you reached your uncle and Calire.
"Thanks" Zach said with a wide smile.
You gave a returning warm smile and walked away to sit in the field and dance some more, hopefully not crashing into anything else.
"So are you gonna ask her out?" Grey asked wiggling his eyebrows
"What are talking about" Zach replied slightly blushing
"Oh come one dude, I saw the way you looked at her, and you're trying to tell me you don't like her?"
"Alright fine fine fine, maybe I do. But so what she probably doesn't feel the same way."
"Well you don't know unless you try"
"Since when did you get so good at relationship advice?"
Grey just smiles and walked away shrugging.
Zach approaches you but this time, with caution.
He slowly taps you on the shoulder so he doesn't scare you, you pull out your headphones and turn to see who'd been tapping your shoulder.
"Oh hey! Are you lost again?"
"Haha no actually I'm not"
"Oh I had something to tell you" you replied
"Me too" he smiles
"Oh, you can go first"
"Okay so I know I just bumped into you and we haven't even talked that much, but I think you're really cute, and I was wondering if you wanted to uh, maybe go out sometime?" He asked with confidence
"Yeah I'd really like that" he smile
You and Zach went on small picnic dates and just sat and talked and enjoyed each other's company. It'd been a few weeks and you two had gotten really close. But your uncle and Calire didn't approve, they thought you weren't good for each other.
One day when you guys were holding hands walking around enjoying the nice weather, the walked up to you and stopped right in front of where you were walking.
"Kaylee, we need to talk to you and Zach."
"About what?" You asked curiosly
"We think that you two are not good for each other. We want you both to stop seeing each other, is that clear?" Hey said with straight faces
"No it is not clear, how do you expect me to abandon someone who I care for just because two people don't approve? Now, I understand that you're her uncle and all but I'm not going to let go of something that I love. Whether you like it or not." Zach said defensively
Your uncles eyes were wide, and full of confusion, he had never seen Zach so angry.
"Well, I don't have any words. Except for, if you're going to date my neice you better treat he like a princess." He said shooting daggers into Zach's eyes.
"Don't worry, I will." He smiled looking down at you.
