"Leijla! Hurry, we have to go before it starts raining!"
Your mom yelled up the stairs. You were getting ready to go on a camping trip, and you were trying to charge your phone as much as you could before leaving so that the battery lasts for a while.
You gave it a couple last minutes while you finish packing and grabbed everything and was out the door.
When you got in the car, you were already dreading the ride there. 8 hours in the car with your little brother and sister. You might as well have been put in jail. Anything was better than 8 hours with them.
"Let's play a game!" Your mom shouts
You quickly put in your ear buds and start listening to your music on full blast. They continued to play eye spy, while dozed off to the sound of music.
It had been about 7 hours since you last fell asleep. You woke up to warm wetness on your flip flops, and lots of commotion. You pulled your ear buds out to look down at your feet. And what do you see. Your little sister threw up all over the floor. On your side. Could this trip get any worse?
Yup! It could, cause there was no where you could clean your feet off. You were in the middle of no where.
So you had to be in the car for the last hour of driving with dried smelly throw up on your feet.
You finally arrive at the camp site, and you immediately run to the lake. When you get to the lake you were half way done cleaning your feet when you feel yourself slipping on the mud. Why did you think that standing on the mud was a good idea. Who knows?
Before your able to fully fall you feel two strong arms frap you. You both fall, and with you practically laying on top of this beautiful stranger.
"Uh, hi."
"Hi" you try to prevent the blush on your cheeks, as you struggle to remove yourself.
"I'm Nick"
"Hey I'm leijla ."
You two stand there awkward for about ten seconds before you speak up.
"Er, thanks for trying to help me, it was nice of you"
"Ah no problem. And sorry for making both of us fall"
"It's not your fault" you say, it was true you should have watched were you were going.
"Here let me make it up to you? How about we go hiking together for a bit? Get to know each other. I mean after all you did fall on top of me" he said with a small smirk
You try your hardest to hide the blush that is making its way onto your cheeks
"Sure, why not"
You and Nick start walking, and you talk and walk until it's dark. Nick brings you back after and he introduces himself to your parents.
You end up spending the rest of your days camping with Nick. He asked you out again when you went back home. And you two started dating and you couldn't be happier.
