Chapter 13

Natalia's pov

I walked down the hall into the kitchen to see if anybody was awake. I hadn't slept too good only because the thundering and lighting of the storm continued though the night.

"Hey, what are you doing up so early?" A cheery Ashton asked me as he set his lap top off his lap and onto the couch cushion beside him.

"I have to go to work" I said sadly even though I love my job.

"Oh that sucks," he commented as he motioned to a box of cereal which I took the hint and began pouring myself some, "I'll give you a ride, just tell me when to you need to leave"

"You don't have to do that," I said "it's not that far of a walk"

"It's still storming outside I don't want you walking alone out there, it's the least I could do for a friend Natalia" Ashton said sweetly.

"Well thank you then" I said as I got a text from Grace asking how I was, I quickly texted her back and turned my attention back towards Ashton.

"No problem" he said as he returned to working in his laptop.

After I finished my cereal I walked back into my room and changed back into my work clothes which had dried by now. I found a comb in the bathroom and raked it through my knots and tied my hair up in a pony tail and walked back into the living room.

"You all ready?" Ashton asked.

"Yeah" I yawned.

"Did you not sleep well last night?" He asked as grabbed his car keys and we started driving towards my work.

"I can never sleep with thunder and lightening" I said.

"Me either that's why I was on the couch this morning" he said just as a smirk played on his lips "have you seen the movie Ted?"

"With the teddy bear?" I asked as Ashton nodded his head "yeah I have"

"We should be thunder buddies" he giggled "you know when two people are scared of thunder so they are thunder buddies"

"Oh my gosh I love that movie it's so funny" I laughed

"C'mon let's sing the thunder buddy song!" He giggled.

"When you here the sound of thunder don't you get too scared, just grab your thunder buddy, and say these magic words, fuck you thunder, you can suck my d****, you can't get me thunder cause your just gods farts" we both sang before we made the fart noise and laughed hysterically.

"I can't believe I remember the whole song" I laughed again as we pulled into the parking lot of the zoo "oh I forgot about my car, I need to call a repair guy"

"You don't need to do that, I can fix it later today" Ashton said "I used to fix up cars with my uncle"

"You don't have to do that" I said "your already doing so much for me."

"I want to" he said "it will be ready by the time I pick you up"

"You really don't have to do that" I said "it's only like a 20 minute walk back to your flat"

"I'll be here at three o'clock to pick you up" he said not arguing with me.

"If you insist" I said as I climbed out of his car "thank you again Ashton"

"It's no problem Natalia", he said "have fun!"

"I'll try" I joked as I walked through the gates and punched in my code.

I checked the time on my phone and saw that I was ten minutes early explaining why I was the only one here. It was actually kind of creepy with no one here and it still being dark and stormy.
