Chapter 19

Calum's pov

Everything was going great, my lips were synchronized with Natalia's and she actually kissed me back this time.

My stomach felt like there's a million butterflies in it as I lifted her up so she was on my lap.

"Your so beautiful" I whispered looking up at her only to realize this was the exact same position I saw Natalia in with Luke just a few weeks ago.

The butterfly feeling in my stomach switched to feeling like my stomach dropped to the floor as I quickly pulled away and removed her from my lap.

"I can't do this" I said making her cheeks heat up as she looked up at me with a confused look, god she's so beautiful but I can't do this.

"I-I" she stuttered as her cheeks turned a brighter shade of red "I'm sorry"

"Yeah you should be" I snapped not even realizing the harshness of my tone as I saw a tear run down her cheek which she quickly tried to cover up.

"Goodnight then" her voice cracked as she stood up and ran upstairs.

"Whore" I muttered under my breath making her turn around and look at me with tears fully streaming down her face.

"Fûck off Calum" she sniffled before she continued running up the stairs.

I know I sound harsh but it's for the better that I cut off all ties with her now. A long time ago on our first tour the guys and I all ended up banging the same girl but on different occasions and when we all told each other about it and we figured out we all banged the same girl we all got weirded out so we made a pact to never bang the same girl that another band member already banged.

Seeing Natalia cry did make my heart ache a little but I can't fall for her any more than I already have.

I decided that I needed to go up and talk to her when I heard a loud crash come from upstairs followed by a scream.

I ran up the steps until I reached her door which was closed.

"Natalia are you alright?" I asked through the door.

She didn't respond since all I heard was sniffling and her repeating the word 'ow' multiple times.

"Please let me in" I said in a much softer tone than before.

She didn't respond again which only made me want to see her more so I turned the door handle and walked inside to see her sitting in the edge of her bed with tears rushing down her face as she clutched on to her foot.

"What happened?" I asked just as I saw the blood coming from her foot and the broken glass lamp on the floor.

"Go away" she cried just as we heard the garage door open down stairs.

"No I need to take you to the hospital" I said "your foots bleeding a lot"

"I'm not going anywhere with you asśhole" she yelled still crying as Ashton, Luke, Michael, and Gracie arrived at the door taking in the sight in front of them.

"What the hell happened" Ashton said walking closer as moving Natalia's hands away from her foot.

"I'm sorry Ashton, I broke your lamp on accident and stepped on a piece of glass" she said still sobbing.

"Hey, it's alright" he said rubbing her back in circles "it was a shitty lamp anyways, now come on let me clean you up and I'll take you to the hospital"

"I'm coming with you guys" I said.

"No your not" Natalia through gritted teeth trying to look angry but in the end just ended up looking even cuter than normal.

"What's up with you two?" Gracie asked.

"Nothing" I snapped as I stormed out of her room and walked into mine slamming the door in the process.

NATALIAS POV

After Calum left, Ashton got some gauze and cleaned up my foot before he helped me into his car and drove us to the hospital.

"I know this probably isn't the best time to tell you because your in pain and stuff but Gracie and I kissed at the club tonight" Ashton said smiling ear to ear.

"That's great Ash" I said my voice cracking "I'm happy for you"

"I know, I really like her and I think she likes me too" he said still smiling as we pulled into the ER parking lot.

Once the doctor looked at my foot and pulled out all the tiny shards of glass left in there he gave me stitches, pain meds and crutches and sent us back home. This time when we went into the parking lot it was filled with people swarming around us and taking pictures.

"What's going on?" I asked Ashton who was trying his best to help me weave through the crowd.

"Why were they taking pictures of us?" I asked once we were in the car.

"They were paparazzi, they must have followed us from the club" Ashton said "sorry, they can get pretty annoying"

I often forget that Ashton and the guys are so famous. To me they just seem like regular guys.

We continued driving back to the house and pulled into the garage making me stiffen in my chair. I really didn't want to be here, in the same house as Calum. I don't know what got into him but all I see is the same Calum that kissed me the night he drove me home, and that wasn't a very fun Calum.

"You sure your alright babe?" Ashton asked looking over at me "is it Calum?"

I shook my head yes as I felt yet another tear fall freely down my cheek.

"What happened between you two?" He asked.

"I can't tell you" I hiccuped from the excessive crying.

"Hey, we're friends which means you can tell me anything" he coaxed gently rubbing my arm.

"He kissed me again, and things were going great until he freaked out on me and said we couldn't do this and he kept being really rude and called me a whore" I said by now I was had tears rushing down both my cheeks.

"I'm going to beat the crap out of him" Ashton said "I don't know why he's acting so weird, I know he likes you a lot"

"I don't know either" I said wiping my tears away.
