keep me close

Just keep me close,

hold me in your arms.

Just keep me close,

don't let us drift apart.

Just hold me close,

your lips to my ear.

Your hair gently brushes mine 

as my forehead leans in against yours.

Just hold me in your arms.

Please don't ever let me go.

I don't want this to ever end.

I want you to be with me,

right now,

no matter what happens in the end.

I don't want you to be my friend,

hell, I want you to be my man.

I want to be your girl,

I want to be your forever,

and your best friend.

I'll tell my secrets to you,

mumbled softly against your lips.

I'll give you my all

as your hands are on my hips,

swaying to the music,

not letting me fall.
