Like before

Why do I yearn for you so much?


Why do you have to make me feel so nervous and shitty at the same time?


You make me want to get close to perfect as can be when you yourself is not even close.


All I keep thinking about when I see your face is to wrap my arms around you and you pull me to you.


For you to hold me and never let me
go.


For us to beat all the odds that tell us no.


I want you and only you


Yet I know when I look at you


You probably would never want me back.


Just to run my hands through your hair and to pull your face to mine.


I want to feel your lips again.


I want to feel your touch once more.


Yet I'm a mile away and will never be close to you like before.

It's hard.

To see your face.

It's so hard knowing we're not like before.

But I guess it's good for me to let go.

Just bad when you're the one I need to let go.
