I stopped at a corner store by my old house. I was out of breath. I didn't know where my legs was taking me. I sat by my favorite tree. It was an oak tree . I used it to get away from my family and dying out friends.

I sat down under its shady green and crunchy leaves. I was crying. Besides the bruise on my neck I was starving since I didn't eat anything. I just felt the pain from my stomach and tears become one.

I finally got the courage to get up and walk to the corner store.

"Can I get a jelly roll. Toasted?" I asked the dude behind the counter.

"Gotcu!" He said with his back turned making it.

I went to the drinks and got an apple juice.

"Two fucking dollars."I said to my self only carrying a five with me.

My food was ready. I grabbed a bag of blue doritos snd went to pay.

" $3.50..." the man said behind the counter tossing my food in a black plastic bag.

I walked out the store.

When I finished my food. I walked over to the house. It's a good thing I lived close to school.

I stepped through the front door forgetting to lock it. I looked around to see if there was a break in but nothing. Not even a person came to check up on us. Nobody really cared for us...

I walked up the carpet stairs still with my dirty shoes on. It started to reak from the smell of decomposition. I walked to savannah room to see the body was gone. It just vanished. Now my mother was really lost in a world she couldn't live in.

"What the fuck?" I said holding my nose, almost about to throw up my breakfast.

"It's only been 3 days. Where could a dead body crawl too?" I said leaving my sister's room.

I went to my mother's stash again and collected most of the money, that was left. There was more but somebody probably knew one of us was gonna come back.

I was scared. My tears came back as I walked around my mother's room. I sat on her bed that was still made up, since she rarely slept in it. I called ty.

RING...RING...RING...

"Yo?" He answered.

"Can you come- get me?" I said sobbing and my voice stuttering.

"Where ya ass at?"

"Where you picked me up three days ago" I said trying to be smart.

"What ever...I'm coming"

He hung up the phone.

Honk...honkk...

I ran down the steps and walked to the car.

" Only ty. Thank gosh" I said to my self.

I opened the front door and put on my seat belt. He rolled off.

"What you doing over here?" He goes and asks me.

"I can't deal with school" I said sinking into the seat.

"Where you wanna go?" He said stopping at a traffic light, looking at me sad.

"Any where with you."

" ya sure?" He asked pulling off.

"Yeah" I said closing my eyes.
