chapter 12

I went downstairs, with a messy bun and long shirt.

"look I gotta go to work." Ty said as he was walking out the kitchen.

"The strip club? " I said quietly, rubbing my face.

" no dickhead. I got a job" he said rolling his eyes.

I stopped at the last two steps.

"So you own a strip club and have a job".

"Ughhh yes Samai." He said stopping his motion to look at me.

"But you making madd money" I said looking into his brown eyes.

"So a nigga can't just own a strip club and work?" He asked me.

I just looked at him embrassed.

"Chill with the questions now b" he said resuming heading out the door.

"Ty!" I said stopping him as he had a foot out the door. I walked to him.

"What?" He said.

I got to my tippy toes and kissed his cheek. I didn't know what I was doing. I must have liked the way he was talking to me.

It turned me on.

"Wow" he said as he looked down at me.

He walked through the door silent. Started his car and rolled out the driveway.

"Omgosh ,what did I do" I said to myself , touching my head as I walked to the kitchen.

"Fuck!"

I grabbed a bowl and searched the fridge for milk. I looked up to see only two boxes of cereal. I reached up and grabbed them both.

"Frosted flakes ...apple jacks?"

"Apple jacks.... I guess"

I opened the box and pour a Lil in the red shiny bowl and poured some milk.

"Spoon...spoon...spoon" I said searching the different draws filled with crap.

Found one and hopped on the gray couch, turning the tv on. I flipped the channels searching for a good show. Finally, 'Amazing world of Gumball'.

Even though I was 17 I still was a kid inside. I scooped a spoon fill of apple jacks and stuffed it in my mouth. I giggled as they did some stupid stuff.

"Hey" someone said.

I turned around to see Savannah coming down the steps. Surprisingly dressed.

"Wadd up" I responded.

"Where you going?" I asked pausing my cereal from coming from my mouth.

"Kasey's" she said.

"She's having a sleep over and she wants me to come first." She said putting her bag down.

"Oh"

"When was you gonna tell me?" I asked getting up from the couch.

"Sorry" she said as she headed to the door.

"When you coming back?" I said hesitating, putting my bowl on the counter.

"I guess Monday. " Sav said looking at me.

It's Saturday and my sister wants to leave me. I was gonna take her shopping after my first pay check.

"Fine."

"I love you ...thank you...bye" she said rushing out the door.

The door closed. I slumped back to the couch and watch the rest of the show.
