Epilogue

I had the same feeling everytime I visit this cemetery. Para bang nararamdaman ko ulit yung hirap sa kalooban na mawala ang isa sa pinakamahalagang tao sa buhay mo.

Everytime I visit here I can't count how many times I shed tears on this place. Lahat ng pinagdaanan ko bumabalik but at the end of the day, I just need to regain myself. Be the woman whom everyone knows.

I wipe my tears as I stood up and stared around the place. The cold air brushed on my face.

I sighed.

3 months had already passed. I can't even remember how hard it was for me. Sa bilis ng panahon, iniisip kong sobrang daming nangyari. Not a single word could even describe how I was able to cope.

"I can't believe Luigi is leaving you almost all of his properties. Nakasulat narin diyan pati ang mamanahin ni Vaughn at Chloe." Ygo said while handling me a pile of documents.

Binasa ko ang mga nakasulat doon and I wasn't really surprised that Luigi has already planned everything the moment he knew about our children.

"He's insane." I said. Ibinaba ko sa mesa ang mga dokumento dahil hindi ko kinayang basahin lahat. I am sure if I will finish it, malalaman kong walang singkong duling na itinira si Luigi.

"He just loves you so much. So, anong gagawin mo sa mga iyan?" He asked. I squinted my eyes.

"May deadline ba ito? " I asked. Natawa naman si Ygo sa pagtataray ko.

"Ang sungit. Ganyan ba lahat ng buntis?" He teased. I rolled my eyes. I touched my belly.

He was about to say something when Landon appeared with a wide smile.

"Hi." Bati nito. He kissed my forehead before greeting Ygo.

"Attorney, I thought you're busy for your wedding?" Landon asked Ygo. I watched how Ygo's eyes glimmer with happiness. Excited ang loko!

"Yup. I just brought some papers here for Aldea. So, I have to go na. " He said.

"Bilisan mo, baka iwan ka ng bride mo " pang-aasar ko dito.

"Knock on the wood." Ygo said na iknatawa namin Landon. Napailing nalang ako habang pinagmamasdan itong lumabas ng opisina ko.

Landon's gaze turned to me.

"Let's go?" He asked. Tumango ako at inalalayan ako nitong tumayo.

"Are you sure na kakayanin mong bumyahe with the kids?" Landon asked. Nakatutok ang mga mata nito sa daan habang nagmamaneho.

"Yup. Excited rin kasi ang mga bata." I said.

"Sure they are. How I wish I could be the one to drive you there. Kaya lang mamaya na din ang flight ko to Angeles. Damn Seige! Hindi ko na alam kung paano pagsasabayin ang branch namin dito at doon."

"Kaya mo yan kaw pa." I said. He looked at me and I smiled . Hinawakan nito ang kamay ko as if he was about to do something.

"Yeah. Sabi mo eh." He said. Binitawan na rin nito ang kamay ko at saka tumutok sa pagmamaneho.

We were both speechless for a moment when I have decided to break the silence.

"Thank you Landon..for always taking care of me..of us. I don't think it will be easier kung wala ka. " I said.

"You know I am just here for you. I have always been reserving myself to fulfill my promise to you. I am here to always love you Sam." He said.

Napangiti ako dahil sa sinabi nito.
