"Yea well whoever wins his heart by the end of this week gets him" Gabriel said with a smirk not doubting that he'd win.
"Alright. Its a deal." Castiel replied getting butterflies in his stomach.
"Hey Cas, ooh hey Gabriel!" Sam said as he walked in feeling very awkward. He had no clue what he walked in on and wasn't eager to find out.
"Hey sweet cheeks. Wanna go to Hawaii for the day?" Gabriel said smirking at Castiel.
"Uhm no thanks?"
"What about a candy story? Or maybe a concert? Or a romantic dinner?" Gabriel was persistent.
"Uhm sure a concert. Can Cas come?" Sam said looking nervous because he has never been alone with the so-called trickster.
"Erm... I thought I could have a little alone time with you and your sweet body." Gabriel replied winking.
Sam laughed, "uhm sure then." And in a poof they were gone leaving Castiel alone.
'Why did I do this? There no chance of me possibly winning. Uggh' He sat down and begain to conjure the most romantic date he could think of. He thought they should have a picnic but the forecasts called for rain. 'Humam weathermen are usually wrong'.After five hours, Sam and Gabriel finally returned laughing their asses off. Castiel looked down, disappointed their date didnt end horribly. He had to bite his lip to keep from crying. Gabriel just smirked at him.
"Hey Castiel." Sam said, sounding almost flirty.
"Hey Sam, I was thinking tomorrow we could hang out?" He tried his best to fake confidence.
"Thatd be awesome!" Sam replied. the next day came along, a Saturday.
"Are you ready Cas?" Sam was wearing a tight shirt and his usual jeans, Castiel found him unbelievably sexy.
"Uhm yea." Castiel was flustered and blushing, adjusting his basket around his arms.
Once they made it to the park everything became more natural. Castiel and Sam laughed and ate and were taking a walk. And then just as the weather predicted it started raining. Castiel felt like an idiot.
He got them under a shelter, away from the rain.
"Im so sorry Sam. I ruined our date." Castiel was very upset.
Sam just laughed. " i hoped this was a date. Yea it started raining. But the thing is, i love the rain." Sam said as he grabbed Castiel's hand pulling him into the storm.
"SAMM!!" Castiel screeched as the cold rain splashed onto his neck. Sam just giggled. Castiel went to smack Sam but Sam dodged it and pushed him down onto the wet grass.
"Apologize" Sam said as he sat on Castiels stomach.
"No!!"
"Alright fine" Sam begain tickling Castiel not letting up. He did this for a minute straight.
"Alright... .finne.. im.. sorry!!" Castiel said between laughs.
"Thats what i thought." Sam laughed and helped Cas up, pulling him into a hug. He began rocking back and forth confusing Castiel.
"Uhmm Sam?"
"Shhh we're dancing."
They rocked back and forth for a few minutes, occasionally giggling.
"Sam. I'm having a lot of fun." Castiel said
"Me too Cas" Sam smiled and brought his face closer and closer to Castiel's, almost brushing their lips together.
"Hey sugar! Wanna go mess around in the bathroom?" Gabriel interrupted smirking at Castiel.
"Uhm I just want to go home" Sam replied walking to catch a cab.
~~~~~~THE NEXT DAY~~~~~~
"Hey Sam, Cas and i need to talk to you" Gabriel said confidently.
"Okay.." Sam was nervous.
"We just want to know if your in love with Castiel- doubt it- or me- most likely." Gabriel said smirking.
"Gabe. Listen I love you both, but not in that way. Ya know?" Sam said fiddling with his buttons on his flannel.
"So wait I'm not getting any dick?"
"No"
"Then Im out. Bye nerds" Gabriel was gone before Sam could even gasp.
"Uhm Sam I'll just leave you be." Castiel said looking down, as he turned to leave the room.
"No Cas please don't go. I just couldn't say what i wanted to in front if Gabriel. I love you."
"Yea i know. 'Not in that way'" Castiel sassed back.
"No- i- ughhhhh." Sam replied frustrated.
"Its okay Sam, i understand" Castiel replied. Sam couldnt get his words out so he hoped that his actions would speak volumes. He grabbed Cas' arms and pulled him into a kiss. Wrapping his hands around Cas' waist. Castiel was far from fighting it.
"Its been hard to keep my hands off of you"
