Chris's POV

For a Sunday morning, it really couldn't get any better. The sun was shining. The birds were chirping. All positive vibes around me seemed to enter my body leaving me with a calm, chilled and relaxed feel.

I opened all the blinds in my room to allow the sunlight to enter. It gave it a more warmer and open feel.

Jamie was coming over early so we could just quickly go over all the songs again today that we were going to cover for busking.

She had come over yesterday as well and I had to admit- she had one hell of a voice. It was angelic to hear, but full of passion and love and it was honestly one of those voices that you could listen to all day on repeat without getting sick of.

I constantly told her that she was freakishly amazing (in a good way), but she always denied  it by saying she was just an average singer and whatnot.

I was really excited for today. Busking was something that I thoroughly enjoyed and liked doing for fun, but something inside of me made me feel slightly dishonest and guilty.

Ethan had no idea that we were doing this, and if he did he would probably have a fit.

That's why I decided it was best not to tell him, for his own sake.

He wanted to call another band practice today, but I told him that I'd probably be busking for majority of the day. Technically, I wasn't lying by telling him that busking... I just didn't inform him that I was doing it with anyone else.

I had to keep telling myself that it was better that he didn't know. So far he always seemed to overact whenever I told him I was doing something with Jamie.

Yeah, maybe they both had some complications in the past that they handy figured out or whatever, but that still didn't mean that I couldn't be friends with the both of them.

Ding dong.

The sound of the doorbell sort of alarmed me and almost caused me fall of my bed. I raced to the door to find Jamie standing there with her hair out and flowing around her shoulders and wearing and outfit that consisted of just simple black and white shades.

"Hey Chris." She smiled her delightful and charming smile as I ushered her to come in side and sit down.

"Have you found out if you made the soccer team yet?" I asked, making conversation.

"Yeah, I made the team!"

"Congrats!"

"And so did Jakob..." She took a very long pause, "And Ethan."

"Oh, good on them. They haven't told me anything yet, but when they do I'll act all surprised as if I don't know a thing."

"Yeah that's the best way to play it." Jamie smirked ever so slightly, just enough to look a little bit evil for a second.

I looked at my feet all of a sudden for no particular reason. Something was bugging me. The fact that I knew so little about the whole Jamie/Ethan situation made me so curious yet confused and I really didn't know what was going on between the two of them.

"Hey before we rehearse anything again, can ask you something?" I ventured carefully.

"Go ahead." Jamie responded, picking at her nails.
