Chapter 60

“Tom Parker?” ask Liam.

“No Tom Cruise, yes Tom Parker.” Says Zoe with a simple eye roll.

“Why would he call you?” ask Niall. 

Zoe shrugs, “Look I don’t know, all I know is that he called me with your whereabouts said it was important that I see you, and you see me, like in person.”

Taping Niall on his shoulder I motion for him to move.

“Where are you going?” ask Niall.

“I need air.” I say.

Niall looks at me as Max says, “I’ll go with her.”

Standing up he lets me out of the sit as he grabs my arm and pulls me to him, “Don’t worry about anything okay?” Nodding Niall kisses me on my forehead as I turn to walk out.

Standing outside of Charlie’s I slid down the wall and pulled my knees to my chest. Why was this happen? What was the agenda behind this?

Sitting next to me as I played with my heart locket Max says, “To much?”

I laugh and say, “You think?” Running a hand through my hair I say, “Why is it like, once me and Niall overcome one thing, we get 3 more things thrown our way?”

Max shrugs and says, “A symmetry for the plot?”

I shake my head and say, “I doubt it.” Looking up at the busy street I say, “It’s like nobody wants us together, and their stopping at nothing to make sure it happens.”

“Do you think being with Niall is a mistake?”

I shake my head, “No I don’t. I’ll admit when I started to get feelings for him, it scared me a lot, but with everything that has happen and with all the mess thrown my way.” Smiling I say, “I wouldn’t want it any other way. He keeps me grounded and sane when all I want to do is freak out and lose myself. If it wasn’t for him and his love, I’m pretty sure I would be in a corner, in a fetal position crying, begging you to bring me ice cream.”

Max laughs and says, “Your right.” Placing an arm around me he says, “Even though its like nobody want you to be with him, just remember that he loves you. Trust me nothing will be able to make him end things with you,” Max snaps his fingers, “Just like that.”

Smiling I leaned against Max and say, “What would I do without you Maxwell?”

Max smiles and says, “Probably rot in a cold dark room, slowly going insane, because your missing out on my awesomeness.”

I laugh, “Probably so.”

Me and Max sit outside for like 10 minutes when Max says, “They should be wrapping it up now. You ready to head back in?”

I nod, “Yeah I am.” Standing up Max pulls me up with him as we head back inside.

The boys where standing at the table in the back as I decided to stay in the front till Zoe left. Zoe seemed like a cool chick, but with her being Niall’s ex, his ‘first love’, I guess its safe to say that yeah I was a little jealous and intimidated. Going through pictures in my camera roll I wasn’t paying attention to the footsteps approaching.

“So you’re dating my boyfriend?”

Rolling my eyes I locked my phone and stuck it in my back pocket as I look up and say, “What do you want?”
