Chapter 50

Mel’s POV

Waking up this morning I didn’t feel like getting up, I didn’t feel like moving because everything in my body was sore. It had been 4 days, 4 days since I first dreamt of Niall, 4 days since my last shocking session, 4 says since I heard Niall was in the UK, but only 2 days since Red came in baring medicine. Come to find out the upset stomach, weakness, and 102.4 fever I had was due to allergic reaction for the sleeping medicine Josh was shoving in my food, and having the guard dose me with when they ‘had no choice’. So you can just imagine how upset I was when Matthew walked in this morning saying that Josh was back and we had to talk.

----------------------------------------

Sliding off the bed I sat on the floor as I did 3 sets of sit ups, 3 sets of push up’s, and a set of leg stretches. With Niall being finally in the same town as me, I knew for a fact, that me getting out of here would happen two ways 1) A break out or 2) An unlikely exchange. Now knowing how Niall works and seeing how Josh operates I knew this would get truly messy, so I wasn’t going to slack off just because I was on ‘lockdown’, but I knew I couldn’t get caught working out or they would defiantly know something was up. So after working out for about an hour I went and showered and got dressed just as Matthew and Biker Dude, who I found out name, is Steve, walks in.

Walking over to the bed I rolled my eyes and say, “What? Never heard of knocking?”

“Knocking is only used for when you respect someone’s privacy.” says Steve.

“Great.” I laughed, “Awesome to know that you don’t respect mine.”

“I don’t show respect to slag women.” Says Steve.

I laughed, “Then you must not respect your mother.”

Steve looks at me like he was about to charge when Matthew grabs his arm and says, “That’s not what we came here for.”

“Really?” I ask standing as I crossed my arms, “You actually have a reason?”

Matthew smiles, his annoying self-confident smile, at me as he looks at Steve and says, “Go I got this.”

“I thought we were taking her together?” says Steve.

Matthew shakes his head and says, “No I can handle her. She’s not as tough as you think.”

I rolled my eyes and walked over to the small desk as I pulled my hair out of my ponytail letting it fall into a mess of wavy curls. God I missed my straightener. I thought to myself as I combed my fingers through my hair.

“Steve I said to go, I’ve got this.” Says Matthew, drawing my attention back to the room. Steve huffs and puffs like a child as he walks out the room closing the door.

“What is it today? New form of torture? Going to feed me to the electric eels?” I say as I walk over to my bed sitting down to tie my shoes.

Matthew laughs, “You have an active imagination love. Perhaps you stop watching TV.”

“If you haven’t noticed.” I look around the room, “I don’t have a TV, so my imagination is the only thing that’s keeping me sane at the moment.”

“I can always provide some sort of entertainment for you.” says Matthew as he winks.

I make a fake gagging noise as I say, “Please don’t make me throw up the first meal I’ve been able to hold down in the past few days.”

“Right you have been feeling ill. Feeling better?”

I look at him and say, “Like you actually cared.”
