Welcome To Heaven (Or is it Hell?) Long Version

Chapter 15

“Mel we need to go!” yelled Nicole as she walks back and forth in the living room.

“Alright, Alright I’m ready.” I said as I walked out the room.

Tonight’s Halloween theme was “Welcome to Heaven” Everyone had to dress up like Gods, Goddesses, or angels. Fixing my heels that I didn’t want to wear in the first place I looked up at Nicole who wore a long gown like dress, with gold jewelry dangling from everywhere. “Let me guess you’re a goddess?” I asked as I walked sitting down at the table dumping everything out my clutch.

“Well of course I’m a goddess, I couldn’t be the obvious.”

I looked at her, “The obvious?”

“You know a skanky angel.”

“Oh I see.” I said as I stood and Nicole looked at me and said, “Wow!” I looked at her as she says, “You look amazing Mel, considering you got that this morning.” I smiled as I pulled at the hem of my short white dress, “Well if it wasn’t for you I would have never found it.” Nicole smiled as she walked to the mirror fixing her makeup, “Well I’m just glad you called.”

Okay look I know what you’re thinking, Why is Nicole standing in my living room prepping to go the dance when I talked crap behind her back? Since Jess has been flacking on me, a lot I might add, I’ve been hanging at Max and Nicole’s condo and me and Nicole started talking and we started bonding and that whole bit. I didn’t know it before, but she was a really cool girl, and I liked hanging out with her.

“Come on we told Max we’d meet him at 8.” said Nicole. Grabbing my clutch I and keys I walked to the door. I had realized that I forgot my phone on the counter, “Give me one second I have to grab my phone.” running to the counter I went to grab for my phone when I accidently knocked over a cup as it spilled all on my dress. “Damn it!” I yelled as I slammed my phone down.

“What’s wrong?” asked Nicole as she ran into the kitchen, glancing down at my dress she gasped as I said, “Please say that you have another white dress back at your condo?” Nicole shook her head as she says, “You don’t have another dress?”

“Not any that’s white.” I sat my clutch down and leaned on the counter, “I’m not going.”

“But you have to go! What about Max? What about Niall?”

“Max will live and I’m pretty sure Niall already picked up some random girl.”

Nicole sits down her clutch and walks to my room. I began hearing my dressers being opened and closed, and my closet being opened and then closed. After 5 minutes Nicole appears with a red no sleeve dress, which had the back cut out in the shape of a heart. “Change into this.” Said Nicole handing me the dress. “It’s not red.” I said.

“Right now I don’t care, you need a dress, and this is the only available option. If someone says something simply say ‘Fuck You’ and keep walking.” I looked at the dress and took a breath. Running into the bathroom I stripped the red dress on, fixed my makeup and walked out, “Perfect! Now let’s go.” Said Nicole grabbing my clutch as she headed to the car.

We arrived at the dance 20 minutes late and we Nicole thought that we weren’t going to be let in, since there was a specific time that we had to be here, but luckily I knew the security guard at the door, “Hey Rick.”
