Christina at the side---->
"Leave me alone!" I screamed, feeling helpless.
Ethan's hobby has become embarrassing me and he was doing quite a good job at it.
I used to be a nobody, not looked at, not spoken to, nothing. But now that Ethan started tormenting me, I'm everyone's target.
"Yeah, leave her alone!"
I was surprised to hear a voice ring in my ears and turned around in shock. A pretty girl was standing there, her arms folded and her green eyes bright.
Ethan gave me an arrogant, crooked smirk.
" Why should I?"
I scowled, but then smirked right back at him.
"Why are you so obsessed with me? You really like me, don't you?"
I smiled and twirled my hair, eyebrows raised.
He was frozen for a second but the looked at me with sheer disgust.
"You? How could I fall for someone like you?"
Ouch. That hurt.
"I only tease you because you're such a wimp. It simply amuses me."
"Is that so?" I asked curtly, my temper rising.
"Yes, that's all I have to say."
"My hate for you is so much I can't even describe it." I said through clenched teeth, my eyes narrowed.
"Sure, sure."
He rolled his eyes and left, walking away like he owned the school.
"The nerve of that kid..." I muttered to myself and felt a hand on my shoulder.
The green-eyed girl looked at me with her mesmerizing green eyes.
" I think he's lying." She smiled kindly, but there was a hint of sadness to it.
" There's no reason for him to lie." I snapped, annoyed.
Boy, I'm making a bad impression.
" Look at me." Green eyes said gently. I looked at her blankly.
" We need to talk. I really need to tell you something. Sit be me at lunch." Her voice was urgent and I could see she was being honest.
"Ok-ay." I said slowly and left to 3rd period.
...
"Ms. Rose, do you find that ugly flower more interesting than my class?"
I snapped my head away from the window and apologized quickly. Dozens of smirks were shot at me and my hands clenched into a fist.
Ethan has made my life really hard.
...
"Did you forget?" I heard a familiar voice in my ear and my heart sank. I was hoping Green Eyes had forgot. I was honestly not in the mood to talk.
"No, I didn't." I smiled lamely and patted the space next to me and she gladly sat down. Her big eyes looked worried.
"Christina, you know how Stephanie Snow really hates you?" I nodded slowly.
"She really likes Ethan...and you know how he annoys you all the time, right? Well she's really jealous, since she doesn't get as much attention and is planning something really bad."
I didn't like where this was going.
"Don't underestimate her, she is really clever. Her schemes are never good."
I finally spoke up. "Do you know what she's going to do?" My voice sounded hoarse.
"No." Her voice mingled with tension.
"Why are you being so nice to me? Why do you care?" I asked softly.
"I want to be your friend, Christina."
I didn't answer.
...
"What are you looking at?" Stephanie snapped rudely as I was staring thoughtfully at the clouds in the sky.
"Why do you care?"
"I never said I cared."
"Then don't ask answers for questions you don't care for."
"Whatever, stupid."
"Shut up." I spat.
"Make me." She smirked.
"I will."
"Try and see what happens."
I rolled my eyes and turned away, done dealing with her nonsense. Green Eyes gave me a sympathetic smile and I forced one back that was more like a wince. We were at the bus stop, and the sky looked particularly beautiful at the moment, which was the reason I was gazing up.
Ethan was there too, and for some reason, he was avoiding eye contact with me but I could care less. Life without Ethan is wonderful.
I wish it would stay that way.
...
My hair was drenched in sweat when I woke up and I cursed under my breath when I thought about what I was dreaming about.
Ethan? Hot? I'd like to throw up in his face right now. Seriously. That arrogant, self-centered, stupid, jerk.
