I groaned as my alarm went off, I rolled over and smacked it off, "Why does today have to be a school day?" I walked out of my room and into the hallway to the bathroom. I almost gasped as I caught my reflection in the mirror, "I look awful..." My eyes were puffy, bright red and sore from crying too much.

I winced in pain as I washed my face, "Who knew crying yourself to sleep could be so painful..." I started to sing one of my favorite songs, "Bulletproof Love" by "Pierce The Veil. "My love for you was bulletproof, but you're the one who shot me! And God damn it! I can barely say your name, so I'll try to write it, and fill the pen with blood from the sink!" I finished singing and got out of the shower.

I got ready for school and had to put some makeup on to cover up the redness around my eyes, "Face the music when it's dire...."* I sang to myself as I looked in the mirror. "You ready Lil?" My mom yelled up at me, "Yeah! I'll be done in a sec!" I called back.

"Well, as ready as I'll ever be." I told myself

I waved 'goodbye' to my mom as she drove away, and headed into the school. I made my way to my locker and got ready for my first class before I realized, I hadn't done any of my homework. "Uh oh..." I mumbled. I felt someone behind me and turned around. I looked up and saw Adam standing there smiling, "Morning Lily!" I nodded at him and walked away, but not before he grabbed my shoulder, "You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." I forced a fake smile, he looked like he wasn't buying it, but he didn't ask anything else, "Is there something you need?" I said nodding my head toward his hand and he let go, "Sorry. No..." He looked hurt, but I needed to get my homework done.

I got to my first class and sat at my desk and did my homework. Thankfully I got most of it done before class started. I sighed as the bell rang signalling the start of class, I closed my science book and took out my English book. Mr. Tellit walked in and class began, I passed in my homework and the rest just kind of went by in a blur. By the time art class rolled around, I was thankful I only had two classes left: History with Adam and Math, then I could finally go home. I had finished the rest of my homework over lunch, so I was set for the rest of the day.

All of the color in my face vanished as Skylar walked into class. She was probably the last person I wanted to see right now. I looked up and scowled at my easel. Ms. Phillip walked in and over to the little stage thing-y, "Okay guys, today we're going to be working with Pastel Chalk. So come get your supplies." Everyone got their things and sat back at their stations as they waited for Ms. Phillip to tell us the rest.

"I want everyone to just do what comes naturally, all in your own style and format. Happy art everyone!" She said and I got started. In the end, my project came out looking like a big ball of thorns wrapped around a dying heart. Dark, I know, but that's how I'm feeling right now.

"Wow... That looks amazing..." I looked behind me to see Skylar admiring my project. I forced a smile, "Thanks, I better get going." I grabbed my stuff, "Wait! Lillian, you're really good friends with Adam, Right?" She blushed and I nodded, "Is he seeing anyone?" I shook my head 'no' not able to say anything. She smiled brightly and I looked down at the floor, "That's great! Is there anyway you could maybe give him my number?" She gave me her number, saying that she had to leave after this class and wasn't going to be able to see him. Me being, well, me, couldn't say 'no'. She waved 'goodbye' to me and left.

I left soon after and headed to my locker. Before I was able to get it open I saw Adam approaching and I banged my head against it "I just want this day to end..." I whispered to myself.

A/N Stupid Adam... Stupid Skylar... Well, hope you guys liked it! Love you, bye-bye!
