(Danielle's P.O.V)
I looked in the mirror, shocked. "What is going on?!" I screamed. I sat on my bed for what seemed like forever, when I heard voices. I opened the door, and hid. I saw my mom talking to 3 strange women, and 1 boy about my age. The tallest one of the women had a square-shaped afro, a pair of sunglasses, a pair of odd gloves, mostly finger less except for the middle finger, and wore a strange jumpsuit. She had red skin and two gems on her palms similar in color to the gem in my arm. The one with average height was a little shorter than the red one. She had bone white skin, sky blue eyes, a white gem in her forehead, and salmon colored hair. She wore an aqua green shirt, similar to a ballet outfit, flats with pink socks, and some tan shorts. The smallest of the women had a purple gem in her chest, a mess of long very light lavender hair, almost white, purple eyes, and purple skin. She wore a leotard, a black top with grey pants with black stars on the shins, and a pair of white boots. The boy was wearing a red shirt with a yellow star in the middle, a pair of jeans, and some sandals. "Your daughter has gained extraordinary powers. This is an honor. We just need her to come with us, so she can learn to control her newfound power." the tall red one said. I ran back in my room. I locked the door, and packed my favorite things. I opened the window. It was a little drop, so I'd be fine. I jumped out the window. I landed on my feet, and took off running. When I looked back, the boy and the 3 women were running after me. After running around a corner, I found myself surrounded. The gem on my arm began to glow. "Leave. Me. Alone!" I screamed. I crossed my arms over my chest, and released them. An explosion surrounded me, and flames blasted from my palms. "We found her." the red one said. I was terrified. The gem on my arm stopped glowing, but I was scared. I had just caused an explosion, and there wasn't even a scratch on me. "Carnelian chose her. That means we must find the other 6." the white one said. "What on Earth are you talking about?" I yelled. "You've been chosen. It looks like we've found fire." the red one said.
