You stood directly behind Noah and lifted his long golden hair in your hands. Drawing the soft bristles of the brush through the strands of his hair, you slowly stroked the brush down from his scalp to the ends of his hair.

"You do that extremely well." You saw Noah smile at you though the reflection in the mirror. Your insides trembled slightly at his smile. His smile was sweet, but his eyes were focused directly on yours and a flush of heat rushed up your neck to your face. Seeing the sudden redness, Noah raised one eyebrow, teasing you. "Are you feeling alright, my dear? You're looking a little flushed."
"I'm perfectly fine, Noah." Your smile back at him was coy.

He knew the effect he had on you and he often enjoyed making you squirm with pleasure. He was careful not to push things too far; he wanted to save that special moment until after you were married. But he loved to tease and you had learned a few things yourself that occasionally made his eyebrow raise in surprise.
"You know I don't normally allow anyone to touch my hair." You knew that was true and when he asked if you would be willing to brush the tangles from his hair, you had been surprised but happy.
"Yes, I know that." You pulled his hair to one side, and slid your finger along the edge of the cross tattoo on the back of his neck. The sensation made Noah's eyes widen and you saw him swallow firmly.

"My dear." He stood up slowly from his seat and you reluctantly released his hair, letting it fall around his shoulders.
Noah was the most beautiful and most intelligent man you had ever met. When he asked if you wanted to meet his family, you didn't hesitate. You had been dating him long enough to know the sequence of things related to his heart and his view of courtship.
"My dear." He repeated as he brushed your hair behind your shoulders so he could cup the back of your neck with his hand. Now that he was facing you, you could see that his cheeks were flushed and pink also.

"Have I told you how much I adore you?" Noah brought his face close and brushed your nose with his.
"Yes, as a matter of fact, you have. It was right about the time I told you how much I adore you." You moved your head to quickly press your lips to his, holding the kiss until you felt his other arm wrap around your waist.
It always amused Noah when you initiated a kiss. He was very old fashioned, but you had told him that you would never deny your feelings for him. And when you wanted to touch him or kiss him, you wouldn't hold back.

"I wanted to create something special for you." Noah spoke as he held you in his arms. You smiled and locked your fingers together behind his neck as he talked. "I dreamed of a million things I could build that would show you how much I love you and how much you mean to me."
"Noah..." You began to protest. He must know that you didn't need any of those things to prove how much he loved you. As you opened your mouth to continue, Noah silenced you with a gentle finger on your lips.
"But I realized that nothing I could create could ever do justice to the love I have for you in my heart. My love for you is too grand, too immense to be captured by anything I could ever make with my hands."

Noah's words told you more about his heart than you had ever dreamed. He moved his hand to your cheek and kissed you with a fervor so unlike any other kiss you had shared before. Pulling back to look at you, his smile was enchanting.
"Will you join your heart with mine, my dear?"
"Yes, Noah." You smiled and nodded, sneaking another quick kiss.
"I want to make sure it is clear what I am asking." Noah tilted his head to the side and looked at you. "I want everything. I want to marry you and share not just my bed, but share my life, my heart, my home and my faith."
"Noah, my darling. You were perfectly clear. And all that you have offered, I accept."
"I love you, my dear." Noah whispered.
"I love you, my darling."
