Noah turned his face toward the sun and rested one hand on his cane. He had left his hair loose for you today and the long golden strands blew lightly in the breeze.
"Good morning, Noah." Your voice was soft in the stillness of the morning.
"Good morning, my love." He turned to you and let you slide your arms under his coat and around his waist, enjoying his warmth. As he tilted his head down to kiss you, the waves of his hair slid over you, brushing your face with its silkiness."I sent the kids off clamming with your mom and dad. So we have some free time." You smiled up into his face and watched as his eyebrow lifted in surprise.
"And what did you have in mind for us with all this free time?" Noah draped an arm around your shoulder and began walking with you back down the path toward your cabin.
"What do I always have in mind when we get free time?" You slid your hand down a few inches and rested it on his backside, squeezing gently.
"I don't recall you being this forward when we were courting." Noah lifted the corners of his mouth in a small smile and trained his blue eyes on you. It wasn't hard to remember what made you fall in love with him. You had never met any man who set both your mind and your body on fire. He was intoxicating.
"I wasn't this forward then." You admitted. "But now that we're married and I'm able to experience everything you have to offer, I want more."
"What happened to that shy young girl who covered her eyes the first time I undressed in front of her?" Noah asked quietly, his smile expanding.
"She peeked and liked what she saw."
Noah's laugh shook his whole body.
"Do you miss that girl?" You asked gently when his laughter subsided, sliding your hand off his backside and back up to his waist. "Do you want her back?"
"No." Noah replied without hesitation and reached around to slide your hand back down. "I'm enjoying this girl quite a bit."
"Good. Because she's enjoying you, too."
