6. Karaoke Night

"Gaige, are you sure you are ready for this," I said as we pulled into the driveway of my house. I had texted Hadleigh earlier to make sure that she was still there and she assured me that she wasn't leaving until she met him.

"Yes. If you can go and meet my pack, I can surely handle meeting your pregnant, older sister. I mean how bad could it possibly be," he asked as we walked towards the front door.

Before I opened the door, I turned to him and pulled him down to me, kissing him hard. I ran my tongue over his bottom lip and he opened his mouth for me. We fought for dominance, which he won, and finally, I pulled away.

"What was that for," he asked a little breathless with a small smile on his face.

"In case you don't make it," I said with a dead serious face and his smile faultered. "She is going to be just as bad, maybe even worse, than my mother," I said and then opened the door. We walked inside and, just like I expected, we were ambushed.

"Hi Gaige, I haven't heard all that much about you from my sister, but you know how she can be-"

"Hadleigh! Calm down. One statement at a time," I said shaking her shoulders just a bit. Gaige laughed and shook his head.

"Ok," she said and took a deep breath. "Hello, Gaige. I am Hadleigh, Aria's older sister. If you do one thing to hurt her, I will tear your balls off and force feed them to your wolf, got it?"

Gaige laughed and nodded. "Yeah, I got it. Not the first time I've been told that." Babe, she isn't kidding, and neither was Halle. I said through the mind link and his face visible paled.

How'd you know Halle said it, he asked and I almost laughed.

I know her like the back of my hand..and plus, I know you didn't think up the Paramore concert on your own, I joked and he playfully glared at me.

"Great! Now that we have that out of the way, please, tell me, what are your intentions with my baby sister?"

There's that damned question again. I mean come on, he is my mate, of course he is probably going to say something like marry me or have a family. Even the thought of that right now made a shiver run down my spine. Can't they just leave well enough alone and be happy that I accepted his ass.

Heard that babe. I chuckled to myself as Gaige's fake wounded voice drifted through my head.

Mmmhm."Well, I would really love to eventually marry her and have a family, if she will have me. I mean I'm just happy that she accepted my ass," he said, sending me a look.

I held my breath, trying not to laugh. "Well, you do that then. Good luck, you're going to need it," Hadleigh said, laughing. Gaige laughed and nodded. The questioning continued on in that fashion until she got a little too personal. "So, Gaige. How big is your c-"

"OK, HADLEIGH! That's enough." That is for me to find out, and you to never know, I added in my head and she burst out laughing.

"Ok, ok. I have to go anyways. I'll see you all later," she said as she got up from the couch and headed towards the door. "Oh, and Aria. I suggest you get on that. If the box is big, I'm bet the present is too," she said, winking and left.
