9. The Antidote: Part 1

Ok. Being in heat is officially starting to tick me the hell off. Gaige is being more possessive than normal and won't let me out of the house - not even to go to school! I am insanely hot all of the time, and to top it all off, I am horny as a mother fucker!

Normally, I'm not a touchy feely person, but lately I can barley contain myself around Gaige. Not that he has a problem with it, but I do. I don't want to end up going too far and let myself write a check that I can't cash.

Currently, I was sitting on the couch at home attempting to watch Duck Dynasty® reruns, but I couldn't concentrate. Not even Si could hold my attention long enough. I groaned and threw myself back on the couch. "MOM," I yelled out and she walked into the living room, brooding against the door frame.

"What is it, Aria," she asked with a deadpan look on her face.

"I don't knoooooww," I whined and she sighed, walking over to me.

She sat down next to my head and started running her fingers through my hair, "It'll be alright, honey," she said softly. "Look, I think that you should go and stay with Gaige. At least until your heat is over, and then if you want to come home you can."

I looked up at her like she was insane. "Mom, are you crazy?! He already doesn't like I am around Noah and Ryan and they are my brothers. Brothers! Imagine what would happen if I'm cooped up in his pack house all day with guys who aren't my family," I said. And I have to talk myself out of jumping his bones every time I see him, I added in my head.

She sighed, "I know honey, but, I think it might be good for you...besides, I want some grand kids!"

"Mom!"

She laughed, "I know, I know! And just to let you know, it's sort of awkward for your brothers and your dad too, to smell your heat baby girl," my mom said and I blushed furiously.

"Fine, I'll see if he can come get me," I said and as I did, a wave of cramps hit me and heat ran all the way through me, scorching my body. Gosh, I don't know how much more I can take of this.

"Ok. I'll be upstairs if you need me," she said, kissing my head and walking back to her and my dads room.

Gaige, I asked through our mate link and waited for him to answer.

Hey, babydoll. What's up?

Can you come get me, I asked him.

Sure, is there something wrong, he asked, immediately on edge.

No, it's nothing. My mom and I just think it would be a good idea for me to come stay with you.

Alright. I'm leaving now, I'll be there in a few minutes, he said and I cut the link. I walked upstairs, threw some things in a bag, and walked downstairs to wait on him.

A few minutes later, someone knocked on the door. I opened it, expecting Gaige, but instead Marc was standing there. "Hey, Aria. Can I co-" he stopped mid sentence and sniffed the air. "Well, well, well. Someone's in heat," he said, his eyes darkening as they raked over my body.

I blushed and stepped back a couple of steps, but he followed me. "Yeah, well, Gaige is coming so..." I said continuing to back up. Suddenly I came to a stop as I hit a wall.
