10. Joining in.

Rose POV

I sat at the counter as Mia took my my dinner from the microwave.

"Where have you been?" She asked quietly. Probably seeing my turmoil written all over my face.

I shrug. "Viktoria took me out around town." I awnsered briskly not really wanting too talk. She nodded while drying a pot.

"Thank the goddes your back. The Alpha was really pissed you weren't here. ... You look tiered. Maybe you should go too bed early." I nod at her statement. I was exhausted and hungry so i dove into my plate eagerly.

"You should get enough rest. It's a big day tomorrow." She continued. I frowned at her not knowing what she meant. She noticed my confusion.

"There are some new pack members joining us. Tomorrow they will be initiated into our pack and the Alpha wants you too do the same." She explained. I gaped at her. What the hell could that mean initiate me into the pack. The stories i read had different rituele and i wonder how this pack would do it. Not to mention do I want too join a werewolf pack.

I was planning on leaving when i healed enough. Yet on the other hand could i leave when i had a mate, here?

It's were you belong. My scitzo voice tolled me but i ignored it.

"How does that work.?" I stammered out. She schrugged like it wasn't a big deal. "You just pledge your loyalty too our Alpha. You'd be the first human in a long time though." She said with a tone off disgust.

I suddenly lost my apatite and picked at my plate. "Why does the Alpha want me in the pack?" I whispered more too myself.

Mia was just finished cleaning. "It's not my place too questions  Alpha Belikov's motives. But i wouldn't want too be you. A lot off people are not going too like it." She said picking up her coat.

"i put out the clothes Alpha wants you too wear." Was the last thing she said before leaving.

I picked at my plate some more, thinking about everything that happened today. A deep voice pulled me out off my thoughts. "You should eat." He said sending shivers along my spine. I looked up too  Alpha Belikov almost falling off the stool in shock.

"Has Mia tolled you about tomorrow?" He asked leaning in the doorway watching my like i was a experiment. I nodded not trusting my voice. i pulled my gaze from him in ordere too say what needed too be said. "i'm not doing it." i said wanting too sound strong but my voice quivered in the end.

Before i knew it he was beside me holding my upper arm gently, his eyes darker as he looked down on me. "You have a choice. You do this and you can life here, by publicly joining the pack nobody will hurt you....."He paused as his grip on my arm tightened before get let go. "....Or you can go back too the prisoncell." i glared at him not wanting too show fear but when it sunk in i gasped in recognition. "Thats what i thought." He then turned and left without another word. His deamour tolled me this wasn't up for debate. I cleaned my plate while making a cup off that tea.

I whent too my room and saw a dress standing in the corner off my room on a manniquin. I rolled my eyes. I'm not really a dress type off person. It was a pretty dress, though. It was a long pale yellow almost broken white summer dress that would hit the floor. With it were a pair off matching heels and a equaly pale yello chiffon scarf with a silk rose. i sighed taking my tea into the bathroom and running a bath. i still had some twigs in my hair from my face plant earlier.

i set too it and started the grooming that was nessesary. I had a feeling it would go a long way if i was prosentable. maybe they would like be better even if i only was human. While the bath was running i shaved my leggs, plucked my brows and sunk into the bath letting the warm water soak my muscles loose while sipping at my tea. I popped my ankle on the ledge an saw the swelling was down but it still felt sore. Thankfully the dress it long enough too cover my ankles.
