Rose POV

We were both lost in the kiss until he froze mid stroke. He slowly pulled back and i reliesed my hold him stepping back wondering if this would be just like in the forest and the next words i would hear is 'I shouldn't have done that'.

I looked at the ground awaiting the words that would rip my heart into pieces. But the words didn't come. A soft firm hand cupped my chin making me look up at those gorgeous pure chocolate eyes.

"I just got a mind link i need too attend some pack buisness. Don't go anywhere." He said with honesty filled in his eyes.

"Aren't you going too say 'you shouldn't have done that'?" I asked fearful and swallowed. 

His grip tightened around my jaw as he pulled me closer again for another kiss. When he pulled back. "Does that awnser your quiestion? " i bit my lips my eyes smiling at him and nodded.

He watched him stride away in the direction off the pack house. Watching his sweet firm ass walk away from me. Then a evil glare caught attention. Tasha looked at me with utter disgust, but it was a disgust off another kind. Not because they think I'm human but because I was getting close too dimitri.

She was wearing a skimpy red dress that barely covered her chest. It was horrific. It was a low V - cut dress and the her sides were bare. It was like she wanted every male too see her almost naked body in the hopes too lure them in.

I had a feeling she wasn't getting close too dimitri for a while now. Her sent wasn't on him sins the last time I knew they were in his bedroom.

I shot her a smirk off my own showing her i knew i was winning. This enraged her even more as she stomped off.

I looked around scanning the crowd for a familiar face.  Viktoria looked at me with a proud smile. I made my way over too her next too the stage with the band. She hugged me instantly when i reaches her. "I'm so happy for you." She shouted over the music.

We walked around and she introduced me too the members from other packs. There were also some Alpha's and Luna's present. The all look refined. Most Luna's dressed in a buisness appropriate atire.  I felt a little out off place with my gorgeous dress. Also most off them were late twenties or early thirties. I was definitely the youngest amongst them.
They had a motherly fibe too them.

We were walking over too the next group Viktoria wanted too introduce too me when she stopped. I looked at her and followed her gaze too Christian,  Tasha ' s nephew. He was standing in the middle off the crowd his eyes wide and his lips parted. I followed his gaze too a girl with platinum blond hair and emerald green eyes just like her dress.  Her eyes were just as wide and locked with his.

Viktoria leaned into me. "That's Vasilisa Dragomir from the greenhouse pack. Watch. This is why we host this party." She whispered into my ear.

Vasilisa smiled and excused herself from the group she was with making her way too Christian.  They closed the distance between one another. Christian took her hand pulling her away too a quiet corner. She followed eagerly. When they were out off view i asked Viktoria. "Why are they leaving?" Viktoria giggled.  "Too make out off course. Mate's do that when they first meet." She awnsered. My mouth retorted into a 'O' shape as recognising dawned on me.

It's been a while sins Dimitri left and i was getting agitated.  I wanted too be with him. I left Viktoria as she was talking  too a cute guy. I made my way into the pack house following the corridor too the office. Scanning my eyes over the pictures off former Alpha's and Luna's. The last one made me stop in my tracks it was Olena with a man.
