Rose POV

He turned too me once we were in the hallway both his hands on my shoulders.  His eyes were filled with cosern. "Are you oké?" He asked softly.  I nodded my mind reeling with wat just happened.  It was supposed too be me. But how? I didnt even notice i was shaking until he pulled me into his chest. He wrapped his arms around me squeezing me gently. "it was supposed too be me." I whispered breathing out a sob into his chest.

I wrapped my arms around his waist.  He tensed a little before relaxing and rubbing my back. It was only a couple of seconds he allowed me too breath in his sent too calm me before he pulled back.

"It was silver it shouldn't hurt you." He said gruffly turning back into the stoic Alpha. I shook my head folding my hands in one another in front off me. "We need too talk about that, later, but first we need too find out who did it." I said with a shaky voice.

"Do you have a theory?" He asked sounding surprisingly open too my input. I nodded and explained how we all did our part in making breakfast.  "Abbviosly it can't be Jill even tough she set the table. Mia was in charge off the orange juice.  But it was my glass that was laced. My money is on Mia but i don't know how she did it or why."
I thought back too the kidnapping and she was the one who tolled Viktoria they could wait looking for me and gave the wrong directions.

He nodded. "I'll have a talk with them and i will need too talk too you about the silver." I nodded. Then he brushed a stray ear from my face and kissed my forehead. It was quit shocking at the sudden tern in affection with him.

The front door busted open and Eddie stormed in. "Where is she." He demanded. "In here." Meredith responded.  Within seconds he was beside Jill, ignoring a glare from the Alpha who was not pleased by someone storming into his house.
He grabbed her hand.

The doctor wasn't done yet as he was about too draw some blood. She whimpered as the needle. Eddie growled at this. He was protective off her. One could mistake it by brotherly love but this was more.

Alpha Belikov was just about too argue he disobeyed and stormed into his house. I grabbed his arm.

'He's her mate but she doesn't know it yet.' I said too him via mind link.

He tensed in my hold. Then turned too the girls. "The doctor and Eddie will take Jill too the clinic. I want too talk too the rest of you. One by one. Nobody leaves unless I say so." I said without any emotion. Eddie picked up Jill in his arms and she burried her face in his chest.

A guard appeared in the doorway. To ensure we wouldn't leave. The Alpha took Viktoria first.  The guards ushered us too the living room so someone could clean up the dinning room and kitchen.

I stood in the living room too wired up to sit. Meredith was flipping through a magazine like she was at a dentist appointment.

Mia just sat in silence looking rather uncomfortable shifting in her seat. I didn't know if it's just fear off the Alpha or that she could be the one.
