Rose POV.

"Let me check." I whispered as i inched my hand forward touching the rough skin. Dimitri hissed at my touch and my wolf whimpered in response.

Dimitri grabbed my wrist. "I'm sorry." I whispered as his eyes locked with me again. His eyes were filled with surprise. He pulled my wrist making me sit into his lap. "Care too explain how you were able too mark me." He asked sofly.

My breath hitched. "Apparently I'm wolf." I said with a shaky breath looking down too my lap. "That explains a lot." He said softly. He didn't sound angry, which surprised me.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean too." I awnsered truthfully.  I didn't even know i could. My wolf was dormant for many years. How should I know I would grow canines while he was pleasuring me.

He tipped my chin too meet his soft gaze. His eyes scanned my neck too see if he did the same. He shighed in relief. "I didn't mark you." He stated. 

His eyes darkened and he looked like he was having a conversation off his own. We sat there in silence.

He closed his eyes for a second pushing me off his lap. Was he angry with me. I took a couple off steps back. Wrapping my arms around myself, feeling cold and lonely. I couldn't take the silence anymore. I turned making my way too the door.

Suddenly a pair off strong arms pulled me back into a wall of muscle. "Wait..." he whispered darkly. His nose nuzzled into my neck trailing up to just behind my ear. "I'll have too mark you now." He mumbled into my hair his voice deeply accented ending with a low growl. My wolf jumped at the words, that i now release came from his wolf. She wanted desperately too be one with him. But i wasn't so sure. This was like a solid comitment, like marrige. I would be recognised as a Luna. I'm only 17 going on 18. That's all too much.

"No!" I yelled trying too pull myself from his hold. I squirmed wildly. He growled loudly turning me around pinning me too the door.  "My wolf wants too mark you now. I have my own reasons not too, what's yours?" He hissed through clenched teeth his face close too mine. What reason should he have besides the fact I'm human. Or so we thought. 

"I'm not ready. I haven't turned 18 yet. I haven't shifted. I'm not ready too be a Luna. There is so much i don't know. And what would the pack think off there Luna if they find out she never shifted and only just found out she's wolf. I'll tell you. They will shun me again, like they did before. I can't go through that.....again...." I ranted tensing in his hold. He thought about it and fell silent again.

After a while i asked. "What's your reason?" This brought him back too me. As a million things popped into my head. I'm just a one time fuck. He's still disgusted by me. He doesn't want a mate. He deems me unworthy. He thinks I'm fat, ugly, a child, weak or all off the above.  Fear shot threw me at the thought he still doesn't want me, even after last night.  I didn't even notice the tears streaming down my face until he started too kiss my cheek taking the tears from me.

I took in a deep breath and exhaled blinking back the tears. He cupped my face. "My reasons have nothing too do with you. Your perfect. Don't ever daubt that. As much as i want too give into my wolf, i can't." He explained.  "Beside the fact your not ready, i have my own issues i have too deal with. It will happen it's inevitable. But not today." He sated placing a sweet soft kiss against my lips and swiftly stepping back before much more could happen. He turned towards the shower and closed the door flicking on the shower. I released a breath i didn't know i was holding as i sagged against the door.
