Forced Lies

Chapter 8

Samuel's POV:

"Yeah.." I sigh, then I remember Jeremy," I wonder how Jeremy is gonna take this,"

I watch her eyes get big and the color drain from her face a bit," oh no! we totally forgot about Jeremy!" I look at her worried face," we can't just leave him up there!" she says while raising her hands

I grab her hands and pull them down trying to calm her down." I think I can get him without being seen, want me to try?"

She smiles," are you sure you will be safe?"

"I'm pretty sure I will," I grin at her

She stumbles on her words still looking a little worried," O-okay... just don't get hurt, okay?"

" I won't!" I wink at her and head towards the steps going up

Jeremy's POV:

I heard someone outside my room so I calmed down a bit. I saw Samuel walk in," Jere-what happened in here?" He says while looking around the room

"Oh.. you know nothing really, and what were you about to say?" I ask while flipping my black hair to the side

" I was gonna say Jeremy come on, I wanna show you where me and Maddie were,"Samuel tells me while still looking around the room

"Okay..." I reply and walk toward the door oddly ," and why is your leg wrapped in a piece of shirt?"

Samuel answers," i'll explain later.. now come on!" Samuel takes my hand and leads me into our guest bedroom and shows me a trap door in the floor that I had never seen before

" Woah! what is this?" I question him in shock

" I'll also explain this later since apparently mom didn't tell you...." Samuel points to the steps," now come on before Maddie thinks I got caught!"

Star's POV:

I run into my house choking on tears trying to avoid everyone but they kept asking questions," what happened?" my sister Jessie asked

"who did this?" my favorite sister Sami asked

" are you okay Gabriel?" my mom asked... I hated when she called me my real name. I just ignored her though and ran up the stairs, but when I got up stairs my sister Betty asked me," who do I need to kill?" I wasn't surprised she asked that question because she was a fourth degree black belt and very protective over me.... but I just ignored her and ran into my room locking the door.

Samuel's POV:

I lead him down the steps into our secret sound proof room, I look over at him when we get to the bottom, he is staring at Maddie with wide eyes." what happened to your arm?!" he asked Maddie frantically while still staring at her with wide eyes

I walk over to Maddie and answer him," your girlfriend and her friends tried to kill us," I sit down by Maddie and lean against the wall... my leg was killing me....

he looks at Maddie and me in shock," she is not my girlfriend!" he replies angrily..... apparently something happened up stairs and he knew something......

" okay, whether she is your girlfriend anymore or not, they still tried to kill us!" Maddie pointed out

I nod agreeing with Maddie as Jeremy walks over to us and takes a seat, I look over at Maddie and realize just how much blood she is losing and we need to do something fast." Jeremy! We need to get the bullet out of her now!"

"Bullet?! You mean you guys got shot?" he asks frantically

I nod," yeah, i'll explain later.. but right now we need to get this bullet out of her arm." he nods agreeing

" guys.." I watch her lean against the wall and take deep breaths," I'm fine, okay?"

Jeremy shakes his head no at her," no your not,"

I nod," yeah..." I look at Jeremy," 3,"

"2," he says

I keep looking at him," 1!" I try to push the bullet out of her arm and with Jeremy's help we succeed!

I hear her scream as we push the bullet out of her arm.

I get up and run and get a towel from a shelf and get some water on it from the sink, I run back to her and try to clean her wound. Once I'm done cleaning it I get my pocket knife out and cut a piece off my shirt. Jeremy hands me some tape, I'm not sure how he got it but I taped my piece of shirt onto her arm carefully.

" thank you," she smiles and then hugs Jeremy tightly but quickly and kisses me on the cheek, I blush

I mumble," your mom is gonna kill us...."

" oh no! My family..." she starts crying

" they shouldn't hurt them.. don't worry Maddie," I assure her, she just nods

Jeremy finally speaks," guys.. be right back, I just haft to say good bye.." he runs up the stairs

Samuel's/Jeremy's moms POV:

"Why do you guys do this?" I ask them

Aspen replied," We don't have a choice," I watch her look away

"Okay then... are you guys just gonna stand there like idiots or are you gonna do something?" I ask a little rudely

I look over at Avis to see she is a little mad I called them idiots, but they are.

" If-If-," I look over at Aspen to see tears streaming down her face," if Jere-Jeremy ask w-where I am... tell him I left..." Aspen says while still crying

Daniel says sounding kind of sad," come on sis, we gotta go," he points towards a helicopter ," o-okay," she replies as Avis, Aspen, and Daniel walk over to the helicopter

Jeremy's POV:

I ran up the stairs as fast as I could, i ran down stairs into our living room and out the door to see Aspen, Daniel, Avis, and the other agents leaving. I quickly run up to Aspen and grab her arm," bye..." She just pushes me away and jumps into the helicopter.

I feel a tear fall down my face, I slowly back away from the helicopter and towards my house. When I reach my house I run inside and back to the others.....
