Wedding day?

Chapter 5:

"UGGG! My feet hurt!" I said while I threw myself on top of my bed.

I was crazy tried after the party from last night. And I couldn't stop thinking about what Sterlyn had said:
"That's a wish that won't be coming true Alva..." What the hell did that even mean?!

'Knock knock'

The knocking on my door got me out of my thoughts and I walked over to open it.

"Coming!"

I opened the door and right in front of me was Ben.

"Ben!" I jumped up and hugged him wrapping my legs around his waist.

"Wow, I didn't know you'd miss me so much in less than 24 hours." He said with a bit of a smirk on his face.

He walked in my to my house (while I was still wrapped around him) and went straight to the kitchen, where he sat me down on the banister. After that, he opened my refrigerator and started taking out the ingredients to make an omelet.

"Well make yourself at home." I said joking around.

"This is like my second house anyways"

After that, he whipped up some breakfast and we ate.

"Don't take this the wrong way, but how long will you be here in the states and not in that submarine of yours?"

"Are you jealous that my submarine spends more time with me than you?" He said cocking up his left eyebrow.

"Please Ben as if, I was just wondering because it's been more than a month since you left for Australia"

"Well then I'm happy to tell you I'll be here for the next two months." he said with a smile on his face.

"Finally! I get to bug you around again!"

"Ha ha ha very funny Alva, hey what are you doing today?"

"Umm nothing much probably get my things ready for work tomorrow and then watch some Netflix. Why do you ask?" I said with a smirk.

"Oh nothing, I just wanted to spend the day with my best friend" while resting his elbow on my shoulder.

"In other words, your house is a mess and you're putting it off until later." I said knowing.

"Bingo" he snapped his fingers and point one at me.

After getting everything ready for work the next day I sat down with Ben on my couch in the living room. We were discussing which movie to watch.

"Avengers!" Cried, Ben.

"Stop being such a child! Let's watch a comedy"

"Fine, but which one?"

"Ummm... How about... Miss Congeniality? It stars Sandra Bullock."

"Okay sure, just because I know you love her movies." he said while pointing a finger at me.

"Yeii!!" I screamed like a little girl who convinced her parents to buy her a chocolate bar.

I searched the movie and clicked on it, Then I went to the kitchen to make some popcorn and serve two glasses of Coca-cola. After that I walked back to the living room and sat everything down, and started the movie.

Midway through the movie, the doorbell rang. Who could it be? I wasn't expecting anyone.

"Pause it, I'm going to see who it is." I told Ben.

I went to the door and opened it, but I was surprised not to see anybody there. I looked around until my eyes looked at the floor and I saw a bouquet of yellow tulips with a note attached to it. I pick it up and closed the door. And took the flowers into the living room side table.
