"Uh no we were just..." My father breathed.

"Save it, I know what you were doing," I laughed.

"You're ok with it?"

"You are getting married aren't you?"

"Well yeah," he said looking around at anything but me.

"And you are the parent right? I can't tell you what to do," I answered taking a sip of my water.

"But if it makes you uncomf..."

"La la la, I don't care I'm off to bed."

"Ok night sweetie," he answered sounding slightly confused at my reaction.

"I thought old people went to bed really early?" I yawned leaving the room.

"I'm not old," my father yelled to me when I reached the bottom of the stairs.

"Keep telling yourself that," I smiled making my way to my room. Yeah ok that was a little awkward. I shuddered at the thought of Kathrine and my father being intimate. It was just well, ew.

** Monday Morning **

"Ok so you have everything right?" I asked Tristin as we got out of his car. We had spent all weekend working on the silly Science project and I think we finally had a solid project to hand it. All Tristin needed to do was keep it safe long enough to do so.

"Yeah babe its safe and sound I promise. You will retain your mark of 90 percent," he smiled rolling his eyes at me.

I know I was being silly but I couldn't afford for my grades to slide. My father would kill me for one and I did still want to go to college at some point. I knew I would probably have to put it off for a few years but I would do it eventually.

"Thanks," I smiled at him as we parted ways.

"See you at lunch?"

"I'll be here," I answered before making my way to my locker.

I couldn't help but notice the the stares I was getting as I walked down the hall. Yup I guess people were finally noticing. I kept my head down as I made it through the crowd to my locker.

"I knew it!" A blond girl snickered to her friend as I passed them.

"That didn't take long. What a slut," her friend snickered.

"Who do you think the dad is?" The blond whispered.

"I heard she was dating Tristin Richards. She must have poked holes in the condoms to trap him. Look at her she screams tramp."

I had heard enough so I quickly grabbed my books and booked it out of there into the nearest girls room. Why were girls so catty? Whoever came up with the saying 'sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me,' lied. Names freaking hurt too. I wiped the tears from my face when the bell rang. I had to put on a brave face for the day. If Tristin found out he would be pissed. Maybe I should take Sam up on her offer to rearrange some faces.

"Laynnah?" Sam's voice called as soon as I entered the empty hallway.

"Yeah," I breathed quietly.

"What's wrong?"

"Cats out of the bag," I smiled fighting back the tears.

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm just the new school slut," I said rolling my eyes.

"Tristin is going to be pissed."

"Please don't tell him. We only have a month left of school."

"Are you sure?" She asked crossing her arms. "Want me to beat them up?"

"Nah," I sighed.

"I don't like this one bit. What class do you have?"

"Math," I shrugged.

"Want me to walk you?"

"sure."

The rest of the day went by slowly. It was full of stares and mean whispers. I tried my best to ignore them and avoid letting Tristin know something was wrong. Sam met me at all my classes to walk around with me. I sighed as I walk to my locker at the end of the day

"hey sugar lets go dress shopping," Sam chirped as I stuffed my books in my locker.

" I don't know Sam, I'm gunna get bigger by then and I dont know."

"What's the harm?" She shrugged.

"Fine," I smiled weakly.

"Yay! It'll get your mind off of things," Sam smiled.

"Get your mind off of what?" Tristin asked as he wrapped his arms around me.

"We are going dress shopping," Sam smiled.

"That sounds like fun," Tristin said rolling his eyes.

"You want your women to look sexy the night of the dance dont you?"

"Well yeah I guess," Tristin shrugged giving me a quick kiss.

"Look at the Tristin kissing that hoe," the blond from earlier sneered at us.

"Excuse me?" Sam snapped.

"He definitely downgraded," the brunette giggled.

"You're a bitch," Sam hissed.

"Let's go guys," I whispered as Tristin's arms tightened around me slightly.

"Come on Sam if you get into a fight you wont be able to go to the dance," Tristin added.

"You girls are lucky," Sam snapped cracking her knuckles.

"Whatever," the girls rolled their eyes.

"Want to come shopping with us?" I asked Tristin as I pulled Sam down the hallway away from the bitchy popular girls. Sam struggled against my grasp as we walked outside.

"Come on just let me rough em up a little," she begged.

"Sam don't you want a certain someone to take you to the dance?" I asked and then got a death glare in return. Her cheeks grew red and she looked around nervously.

“Whats going on?” Tristin asked looking at us confused.

"Nothing," Both Sam and I smiled sweetly.

"So you want to come or not?" I asked once again.

"I uh don't think that..." He mumbled.

"Come on please?"
