Ryuko sat in the principal's office for the rest of the day, refusing to wear the black and white uniform. "Miss Matoi, you can't attend school here if you won't wear the uniform." The large man spoke irritably from behind his even larger desk. "I don't have to." She barked, glaring at the clock. "You do. If you don't you'll have to go somewhere else." He stated, holding out a folded school uniform for her to take. "Nope. I just won't go to school." Ryuko crossed her arms and stared the principal in the eye. "If you don't go to school, you will be thrown in jail." He stated, showing her a book of laws or some shit. "And you'll be forced to leave mankanshoku here." He stated, knowing that would sway her decision. Ryuko grimaced. She hated it when people used her best friend as bate.

The teen snatched up the uniform and stormed out of the office, running outside to breath the fresh air and think straight. She sat on the curb by the dorm, watching the uniformed students walk around, following their schedules precisely. Ryuko looked to her left to check the huge clock on the front of the school, but jumped when she saw it was already past dinner. "How long have I been here?" She asked herself, standing to go back to her room. She was surprised Mako hadn't come looking for her.

When Ryuko returned to her plane dorm, there was no Mako waiting to bombard her with questions. Instead, there was a man. A man with blue hair lounged on her bead, reading one of her books. "What the hell?" Ryuko spat, turning to leave. Mr. Mikisugi jumped off the bed and blocked her exit. "I need to talk to you." He stated. "No, get out of my room you pervert!" She shouted. "Shhh." He shushed her, looking down the hall to make sure no one heard her shout. "Come with me." He said, taking off down the hall. Ryuko grumbled, but hastily followed her teacher out of the dorm and to an office building on the other side of campus.
